The most comfortable beds ever!!!! The pillows, the sheets- loved them all- I slept so good! Accommodating to motorcycle travelers. Beautiful pool.

We stayed at this hotel during our cross-country road trip and it was our first experience with this hotel brand. We weren't quite sure what to expect, but we ended up being pleasantly surprised.
The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, making it a great place to relax after a long day on the road. The staff was friendly, and the overall property exceeded our expectations for a brand we hadn't stayed with before.
If you're passing through Sioux Falls, this is a great option. We had a very enjoyable stay and wouldn't hesitate to book this brand again in the future.

Very dated hotel. Assume AmericInn bought an old hotel and re-branded it. If you don't mind dated hotels, you may wish to stay here. The room was clean, but supplies (lotion in one room, conditioner in my room) were empty. Hallway smelled like vinegar. Internet and TV worked. Staff at front desk were friendly,

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!
There are 2 AmericInns in Sioux Falls, so don't mistake one for the other.
This AmericInn on Gateway Blvd was very dirty/unhealthy!
We rented 2 rooms.
Room 1 - the bathroom floor was dirty and the shower did not drain so we stood in ankle deep water all the time when using. The tv could not be heard even at full volume, the overall cleanliness of the room was poor!
Room 2 : smelled musty and moldy when we checked in- when we went to shower, the room above us was also showering, so their water was leaking down on us ! We then realized the ceiling tiles were wet, black moldy and also dripping "black sludge" down into our tub!
The breakfast items : the apples were old and gray, shriveled up- the sausage had definitely been reheated from the prior day- just an overall unpleasant, unhealthy experience !! The health department needs to inspect this facility!
Would not recommend !

Upon entering our room I noticed a strong smell of dampness/mildew. It also felt humid. I assumed it was from cleaning carpets or because it’s a family hotel with a pool. I gave it the benefit of the doubt.
We turned down the AC to help dry it out but the smell was not fully eliminated.
On the morning of checkout I learned the shower head leaked, causing water to spray into the ceiling tiles. Upon closer inspection I noticed they were warped and full of mold.
While preparing to leave the unit above us turned on their shower, causing water to steadily leak into our bathroom.
I got up to look closer and found significant amount of black mold in the ceiling.
Staff was notified and they said they would call their manager. When we checked out, staff said the best they could do was credit us $30 for the room that would be returned to our credit card in a few business days and said their manager would call us.
We have not received a call from the manager and it’s too early to know if money will be refunded.
This was concerning enough that I took several photos and videos of the active leaks occurring, the mold in and on the ceiling tiles, the debris and mold in our bathtub that fell from the ceiling as the upper unit was showering, and I have also made a report with the health department of Sioux Falls.

So happy about the indoor pool.
