tolle Unterkunft bei sehr netten Menschen
Pros:

kostenloser Parkplatz gleich hinter dem Haus, schöne Betten, geräumiges Bad mit Ablagemöglichkeiten, alles sehr sauber, Getränke (Kalt, warm) stehen auf dem Flur zur Verfügung mit Strichliste und Abrechnung zum check-out, da wir die einzigen Gäste waren, durften wir die Frühstückszeit und die check-out Zeit bestimmen, Personal war sehr freundlich und kulant

Cons:

die Handtücher waren sehr viel genutzt und ausgefranst und hatten keine Haken zum Aufhängen - war aber kein Problem

Freundliche Betreuung für einen bodenständigen Aufenthalt ohne unnützen Schnickschnack.
Pros:

Lage: Liegt direkt an einer Bundesstraße innerhalb des Ortes. Da das Zimmer nach hinten raus lag, war es ruhig, da nachts der Verkehr gering ist.
Frühstück: Umfangreich, ausreichend und mit allem, um den Tag gut zu starten.
Sehr nettes Personal, da es als Familienbetrieb geführt wird. Naturprodukte vom eigenen Hof, machten das Essen am Abend schmackhaft.
Getränke konnten auch außerhalb der Öffnungszeit der Gaststube aus einem Kühlschrank bezogen werden.

Liegt gut am Rennsteig - wohl einziger Gasthof in Spechtsbrunn
Pros:

Liegt hervorragend am Rennsteig - als einziger Gasthof am Ort. Zimmer sind parktikabel und für 1x Übernachtung ok. Wir haben abends noch was zu Essen bekommen, was wir sehr schätzten. Check-in war easy! Das Frühstück war ein klasse Standard. Insgesamt freundliches Personal - besonders bein Frühstück

Cons:

Betten/ Matratzen sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen.

Sadly It was for business purposes and would like to have stayed longer.
Pros:

We arrived late at Ludwigsstadt train station and were no taxis at all, we contacted the property and the hotel owner came out to get us to take us to the hotel.

Cons:

Not having enough time to enjoy the hotel, facilities or surrounding area.
