Great location and access to convention center with plenty of stair experience and exercises!
Pros:

The location was perfect in relation to the convention center. The provided breakfast was nice with a good variety although the signs taped everywhere about no food being allowed to be taken from breakfast room to your room was a bit much. If you have a ticket for your breakfast where you choose to eat it should not matter but if that’s the rule it’s just the rule but having to read that in the lobby, outside the elevator, inside the elevator, on your floor and inside the breakfast room felt ridiculous and made me feel like I was in a very low budget hotel

Cons:

One single rather small and extremely slow elevator for the entire hotel….yes 1
The wait could last over 10 minutes at times with the line stretching into the lobby.
The stairs were a good option once you found them outside the lobby that you needed your room key to access through a gate where old room furnishings are stored and then through another locked door ..the 1st flight of stairs are pretty steep but after that not a big deal. This was still definitely better than waiting 10 to 15 minutes for the elevator and then being smashed inside with 10 plus people and bags …if you were lucky you only had to share the elevator with the maintenance staff, their carts and cleaning supplies

Overall it was a room with a shower.

The staff was extremely helpful

Cons:

Room accommodations was ugly looks like they did a remodel and was finished very low lighting. Wifi was crappy. Breakfast was excellant.

I had a great experience otherwise
Pros:

The staff? Excellent and very professional.
The room? Very clean and well kept. Cozy.
The shower? Excellent water pressure
The breakfast bar? Well stocked and all items were very fresh

Cons:

Had I known when arrangements were made that you had scheduled construction going on, I’d have made another arrangements elsewhere. Even though I wasn’t personally bothered by the construction as I was away during the daytime hours when the construction happened, it was still inconvenient to navigate.
Also, and this was very much not appreciated, but the site I booked with, Booking.com, gave my computer a virus when sending the finalized booking documents showing my reservation. Fortunately, my computer’s antivirus software isolated and quickly quarantined it.

This place is old. I have no idea how it has 8.5 stars on booking. It stinks in the rooms. There’s no water at breakfast
