Pros:

Absolutely loved this hotel, a welcome drink was offered on our arrival, and even better we were upgraded to a room with a view. I needed a gluten free breakfast and it was excellent and so much choice . All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The decor and furnishings were superb the building was steeped in history. The main breakfast had so much choice and the waiters were extremely attentive and efficient. It was lovely to have a kettle in the room to have my first morning cup of tea, with a selection of beverages and biscuits. The location was excellent. The restaurant recommended by the hotel was excellent too

Hidden gem with unique atmosphere and fantastic staff
Pros:

Beautiful rooms; fantastic staff and service; great breakfasts and lots of little additional touches that made our stay feel special. Great location just minutes from the Santa Maria Novella station and church, and just a few minutes walk to the Duomo. Everyone - guests and staff - seemed genuinely happy to be there and it's not surprising given the lovely building and atmosphere. If you like the personal touch, and to stay somewhere that's in keeping with its city, then this is the place for you.

Cons:

Nothing we didn't like; we can't wait to return.

Very clean, great staff, very comfortable bed, location

Cons:

If u dont get to breakfast relatively ealy most of the food is gone, and not replaced. Breakfast is until 1030 am we got there at 9 and basically all the hot items were empty, no crossaints, smoked salmon, beacon. All not replenished.

Highly recommend.
Pros:

Everything was perfect. Location was great - easy walking distance to main sites and close to station. We had a beautiful hand painted ceiling and it all felt so grand! Staff were friendly and breakfast was great.

Cons:

Bed was a little hard for us but that’s just a personal preference

It was really hot in our room but turns out the heater was turned on for the entire property. Wish we could control the temperature in our own room.

Das Personal ist ein Traum. Wir mussten am letzten Tag leider aufgrund eines Termins vor dem Frühstück auschecken. Wir mussten nicht mal fragen, uns wurde direkt ein Lunchpaket angeboten und fertiggestellt. Unser Gepäck durften wir bis abends aufbewahren lassen, da unser Zug erst spät fuhr. Das Frühstück ist großartig. Wer hier nichts findet, ist selber schuld. Von Croissant über Obst bis hin zu Rührei ist für jeden was dabei. Die Mitarbeiter sind beim Frühstück sehr aufmerksam gewesen und haben einen mit Tee und Kaffeespezialitäten versorgt. Das Zimmer war sehr hübsch und sauber. Der Charakter des Gebäudes wird durch die Dekoration wunderbar aufgegriffen. Die Betten sind bequem, die Sitzmöbel auch.

Cons:

Das Badezimmer könnte besser ausgestattet sein. Die Heizung fing im Bad regelmäßig das Brummen an, sofern man sie nicht ausgestellt hat und die Brause fiel bei minimalem Wasserdruck aus der Halterung, sodass Abduschen nur mit der Brause in der Hand möglich war. Auch auf Schimmelbildung im Bad sollte man mehr achten.
