The location and the beauty and history of this hotel was phenomenal. The only thing I would say that was not great was the fact that the air did not stay cool and the refrigerator and tiny in the room did not seem to stay cool as well and I needed it for my medication. They were wonderful enough to put my medication in there hotel refrigerator until I left. The staff was fantastic.

Cons:

Again, the Erin, the room did not stay cool and the refrigerator in the room did not really work. It was super tiny.

Paradies für die Sinne.
Pros:

Beeindruckend schönes Gebäude mit herrlichen Zimmern wie aus einer anderen Zeit. Das Auge wohnt ja bekanntlich mit und man tut das hier mit höchstem Genuss.
Der Herr am Empfang war außerordentlich sympathisch und man hat sich umgehend sehr wohlgefühlt und willkommen.
Das Frühstück haben wir in einem paradiesischen, üppig grünem Hof genießen dürfen mit einem Iced Vanilla Latte und einer tollen Auswahl an feinsten Leckereien.
Wir sind begeistert! Ein Schmuckstück von Hotel!

The hotel was lovely, with a vintage feel, with many thoughtful touches in the room and common spaces. The staff were incredibly attentive and helpful. An easy walk from the train station and well situated to explore all of Florence by foot. Highly recommend!

Cute and central stay in Florence
Pros:

Gorgeous property, amazing breakfast, great location, incredibly kind staff. Extremely thoughtful also - the owner wrote a book which he gives to guests, and they also leave you handwritten notes in the room upon arrival. Loved having breakfast and drinks on the lovely terrace

Cons:

The A/C was weak and started dripping. Bathroom is a little small but makes sense for an old palazzo. I wish there were more amenities in the room like an iron and board for example. The covers were thin and the beds could be comfier.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Palazzo Dal Borgo and truly felt welcomed from the moment we arrived. The hotel is beautiful, full of character, and ideally located for exploring Florence.

The team made our wedding anniversary incredibly special. They kindly upgraded our room, left us a heartfelt anniversary message, and surprised us with a large bottle of champagne waiting in our room. These thoughtful gestures made our celebration unforgettable.

Throughout our stay, the staff were attentive, warm, and always happy to offer recommendations on what to see and do in Florence. Their local advice was genuinely helpful and added so much to our experience.

We also encountered an issue with our payment, and the way the staff handled it deserves special recognition. They were understanding, patient, and highly professional. They resolved the situation discreetly and thoughtfully, without making us feel uncomfortable or creating unnecessary stress.

We are truly grateful for their outstanding hospitality and would highly recommend Hotel Palazzo Dal Borgo to anyone visiting Florence. We would be delighted to stay here again.
