Due to construction, a bit more walking was needed to reach the hotel, alleyways are narrow and you have to constantly watch out for electric bike rushing up from behind, for seniors, be aware.

Sehr interessant, wenn man Eindrücke von dieser außergewöhnlichen Stadt gewinnen möchte.
Pros:

Das Hotel ist hervorragend geeignet, um mit der U-Bahn Shenzhen zu erkunden. Die U-Bahn Station liegt etwa 3 Minuten vom Hotel entfernt und ist somit sehr gut zu erreichen. Gleichzeitig ist der Bahnhof auch für die Nutzung der Hochgeschwindigkeitszüge ein guter Ausgangspunkt, um die gesamte Region schnell - und preiswert- zu erreichen.
Der Standort (Luohu) ist gleichzeitig attraktiv, um von hier aus nach Hongkong zu gelangen, auch mit der Hongkonger U-Bahn. Die Baustelle vor dem Hotel stört überhaupt nicht, weil mein Zimmer im 18. Stockwerk zur Westseite sein Fester hatte und ich damit ruhig und mit bester Aussicht Shenzhen in diesem Teil sehen konnte.
Das Frühstück ist einfach und ist mehr ein Studienobjekt, wer so als Einheimischer hier übernachtet.
Der kommunikative Service ist überschaubar und mit Englisch auf die Reception beschränkt, oder man hat einen guten Übersetzer, den ich nicht hatte.
Ich kann das Hotel gerne weiter empfehlen.

Cons:

Es gibt kaum negative Eindrücke zu berichten. Man spürt, dass das Hotel früher einmal ein wichtiger Hotspot war, aber jetzt wahrscheinlich für internationale Gäste eher an Bedeutung verloren hat. Aber das ist kein Problem, man spürt es nur an den Bildern und Fotos, die von hohen internationalen, politischen und gesellschaftlich wichtigen Personen geprägt war, mit Datum von vor 30 Jahren. Aber, wie gesagt, kein Problem

A great choice for anyone looking for space, convenience, and good service.
Pros:

I had a very pleasant stay at Felicity Hotel. We booked two deluxe suite rooms for our family. Although some reviews mentioned that the hotel feels dated, we did not experience that at all. The rooms were very spacious, with great views from both the living area and the bedroom.
The staff were extremely helpful and always available whenever needed. There was an unlimited supply of mineral water, and the rooms were kept very clean and tidy every day.
For the price we paid (680 RMB per day per room), the amenities, service, and prime location offered excellent value. The breakfast had a wide variety of options. As someone used to European hotel breakfasts, I found it especially impressive, with both quality Chinese and Western choices, including a dedicated noodle counter.
We also tried lunch at the hotel restaurant, which was very good, although slightly on the pricier side.
The location is very convenient—just a 5-minute walk to Luohu Port and only three stops from Dongmen Market via metro. The hotel has a long history dating back to the 1990s and offers more than enough facilities for the price.
Overall, it was a very nice experience.

Cons:

The taxi arrangement could be improved. A regular taxi for four people to Shenzhen Bay Port costs around 70 RMB. Since we were five, we asked the reception to arrange a cab, and they quoted 300 RMB without any prior clarification. While paying a higher price for a larger vehicle is understandable, this felt non-transparent and significantly higher than expected. A clearer explanation or more reasonable pricing would have made the experience better.

Cons:

Location wise not a perfect choice. Better to choose near to the central train stations.
