The beds were very comfortable. The location for what we needed was great, but not offering a shuttle to the expo center when you already offer if for the airport is the stupidest thing I've ever heard of! One of the main reasons I booked this place was for the shuttle.

Cons:

Okay here we go. When I booked this place I was looking for two main things, a pool and a shuttle service. I paid what I was thinking a bit more in price thinking that those things would be met, I was dead wrong! I could have stayed someplace much cheaper, maybe a bit further away, but would have had what I was looking for for a cheaper price! After traveling over 18 hours straight and checking in to start the mood of checking in being tired I was told I didn't have a reservation. After discovering the front desk lady entered my last name in the first name spot and fixing that she found my reservation. After checking in I wanted to book a shuttle for the next morning to the expo center to find out they didn't run the shuttle to the expo center, just to the airport. With a hotel title of Best Western Airport Expo you with an advertised free shuttle you would think there would be a shuttle to both, wouldn't you? Now already upset being that was one of the main reasons I booked this hotel, we get to the room and looking forward to going to the pool to relax after getting unpacked, to call down to the front desk and find out the pool don't open until the 25th of May! On your website it clearly states the pool is open from May to Sept. NOW I"M PISSED! The two main reasons for paying what I paid and booked this place has now gone right out the door! Our chair by the computer in our room broke, the shower chair in our handicap bathroom was 2 sizes to big for the bathroom and shower area, the tile in the bathroom was gross and dirty and the shower drained slow and caused some flooding, I had to go to the front desk twice to have our remote looked at because it would do nothing, first time changed the batteries, second time she just brought 3 remotes and came into our room to see what was wrong, but then offered us a different room. I was already unpacked, showered and in my pj's! Breakfast lady touched the trash then clean breakfast items.

Value for money and would stay again
Pros:

Good value for money. Booked specifically to attend Churchill Downs so great location for that. Easy check in and out, big rooms, plenty of towel changes so overall met expectations.

Cons:

Overall the hotel is priced perfectly, if you wanted some improvement maybe breakfast could be bit better.

The lobby was fresh and clean, the check in staff was very pleasant. The room was clean and very spacious. Everything was better than expected. The noise from highway and airport are not an issue at all.

Highly recommended.
Pros:

I needed to make an adjustment with the room. I contacted the hotel directly, and they were extremely accommodating. The staff were all welcoming, the facility was very clean, the breakfast was good, & the location was very easy to access. Within walking distance was Craft House Pizza with amazing pizza, pastas, & sandwiches. A Mediterranean restaurant and ALDI was also in walking distance.

Cons:

I know it was next to the airport, but I figured there would be some noise canceling options. Maybe a loud fan to accommodate… I could hear the tv next to us, and sirens every 30 min waking us up.

Great location and updated property, but watch cost and cleanliness.
Pros:

Modern, location was great, it was quiet, and staff was kind.

Cons:

The beds were a bit uncomfortable, the shower was dirty, the bathroom floor was dirty. I also think it was a bit expensive when I could’ve easily booked a higher end hotel up town for $10 less.
