Porters at front entrance did not assist us with our luggage when we arrived. My husband had to retrieve the baggage cart himself.
The best located airport hotel for ease of transiting. Frequent shuttle from the Evans terminal. Super comfortable bed and my room had a nice view over the tarmac.
Pricey for a few hours sleep but high standard accommodation.
Next to the airport… Convenient, clean
Everything was good
the room was nice
The food is abysmal and so overpriced, the restaurant is understaffed. It was worse food than a Golden Corral but at five star prices.
The property was spotless and super well put together!
The sole aspect that I found unfavorable regarding the property pertains to the requirement of non-Bonvoy group members to incur additional charges for WiFi services, a practice that appears illogical to me.
I attempted to cancel my reservation (After booking a few hours before) at the Westin Detroit DTW after severe flight delays. When I called to cancel, I was told I wouldn't be charged. Despite that--and despite booking the room only a few hours earlier--the hotel charged me the full amount. As a Titanium Elite member with over 90 nights per year, I expected clearer communication and more consideration. The accounting team (STEPHEN and SHERINE - Didn't list their last name.. Weird, wonder why?) refused to refund the charge, citing mobile check-in (Which apparently activated automatically when I was literally running from Gate to Gate). Disappointing experience and a lack of support for loyal Marriott Guests. This is not good customer service, and expect better support and consideration for uncontrollable situations, regardless of Marriott status.
I will carefully consider my hotel choices as I complete my travel in 2026 and in the future.
Location great, cancelled flight and we needed a place to sleep nearby. Very comfortable bed. Delicious breakfast.
We arrived at midnight and there was no food available, either in a restaurant or bar and no room service. It had been a very long day of travel with several delays and cancelled flights. We were so hungry when we finally checked in. It was also New Year Eve so we thought for sure the there would be some place to get food.
Our room was VERY cold even when we turned the heat up
On the airport.
Very expensive. Went for dinner and they only had a buffet. $45 for one person and the hot buffet was cold food. Staff was disorganized and often time there was no plates or serving utensils weren’t with the food.
They have a security check point in the lobby however anyone can use it. Not just hotel guests. A lot of airport employees use it and make the line very long. Plan ahead if you think you can just breeze through. Not the case.
