I love the old school mystique of Barcelona suites!

I enjoy the classic feel of Barcelona suites. The staff is friendly and are willing to help out when you need it. Nice job

The pictures were mis-leading, but the hotel was clean and the rooms were big and spacious. Was very disappointed with the swimming pool... The weather was cold outside and the indoor swimming pool was just as cold! The water was even colder, not to mention the spa, it was the same temp bbbrrrrr cold!

Very Disappointed took long time to check in, pool and hot tub not working, had to get card key replaced twice and they had to change our room as well. I would not recommend staying here at all.

The staff at Barcelona Suites was awesome. They made us feel like we were at home.. Thank you to the staff..

It was quiet

We travled to Albuquerque for a wrestling tournament. Multiple kids and my father who is almost 70. We were all pleased with our stay. The front desk was extremely polite and helpful. Breakfast is fresh, cooked per order on a beautiful patio with a fountain. Amazing. We will look into staying every time we travel to Albuquerque

The building is in great need of some TLC.
Long story short it should be shut down.

Sketchy and uncomfortable

It just didn't look like it did online. The inside was spacious and decent looking but the outside could use some work. Plus I'm not from here so i didn't know about the area.

People are wandering around the front, the place looks like it is abandoned. I was afraid to stay in the room alone but after a day and a half I left even though I paid in advance
For 5 days. The room was clean with old furniture and no amenities. The parking garage gate key entry was broken and hanging off you had to press a button for the front desk to let you in. The front desk area looked old and dilapidated. Needless to say I wish I could have cancelled this reservation and got my money back. Please REMOVE THE PICTURE YOU USE FOR THIS HOTEL. IT’S A LIE.

The hotel was OK. It is not in the best area. Because of vagrants, they lock the front door and have to be rung in. Breakfast was supposed to be provided free but not on Sunday or Monday. Then on Tuesday, the person responsible called in sick. We never got the chance to experience a breakfast on the premises. Housekeeping was good but they must be told not to provide toilet paper until it is gone. We were provided one roll when we arrived. The room was not made on the day after our arrival. I went to the desk to ask for replacement rolls and was given the first degree by the man at the desk at night. He wanted to know why we needed a roll after 1 day. The tub is not really ADA complient. There was 1 bar which aided in stepping into the tub but no bar on the wall near the soap dish. I would rate the hotel overall with 3 stars out of 5.

Its difficult to give it an overall rating. Let me break it down.
Check-in: 10, Customer service at check-in: 10, Breakfast:9, Staff preparing bk: 10, Safety around the property: 3 (let me say never had someone disrespectful), Room cleanliness: 8 (room was cleaned daily, provided fresh towels without asking), gated/covered parking and well light. There was cameras around. We learned there were long term tenants (not sure how i feel about that, again no issues and never saw them) $100 deposit was somewhat weird but got it back.
I would give it a 100 for the ladies that were very friendly.

Very outdated hotel. We didn’t feel comfortable coming out of our room not even to go have free breakfast. It was so spooky, smelled weird, and a lot of homeless people around. We couldn’t wait to check out! You can tell it once was a nice hotel but not anymore, so sad it has a lot of potential.
