Absolutely amazing in every way. Second time I stayed at the Aleph, and can’t wait to be back. The rooms are extremely comfortable, the location is on my opinion unbeatable, it has quite a nice gym that allows a full workout - and to top it all the staff is as friendly as it gets!
Everything was excellent – the service, cleanliness, and overall atmosphere. We returned to the hotel after a year, which says a lot. Thank you very much, Carlo.
My husband and I generally enjoy trying good restaurants and hotels. If we are not satisfied, I prefer to mention it directly on site rather than writing a review. However, if we are happy, I do write a TripAdvisor review.
I was a bit hesitant about writing this review because the room we were given had a window that did not open and did not receive any daylight. Still, I decided to write it because overall it is a nice hotel.
The location is central. It is a 2-minute walk to Barberini Metro Station and about a 15-minute walk to Via del Corso.
The room is luxurious but has a lot of marble. Of course, some people may really like that.
The bathroom is comfortable.
We had dinner at the Onyx restaurant and enjoyed it.
The breakfast is good. I especially loved the croissants.

Great family experience! Our family of 9 (6 adults, a 3 year old, a 1 year old, a 6 month old) stayed here in July 2025. We had 3 separate rooms. The hotel was clean, well decorated and the rooms were spacious. The staff was fabulous! The staff was very courteous and attentive. They were especially kind to the children/babies in our family. They learned their names and call them by name during our stay. We utililized room service once on our arrival day and the restaurant for breakfast two mornings, both were exceptional and would recommend. The staff were also very helpful with directions, suggestions and currency exchange. We would definately stay here again. Also, prior to our stay and reservation, Valeria Bocchino, reservation agent, was extremely helpful with questions and helping us book the the best rooms to suit our needs.
It was perfect stay and I like everything in the hotel 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
5/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Fantastic hotel, spotlessly clean. Excellent friendly staff. The suite we had was beautiful. Fantastic breakfast selection. Amazing spa experience. Location excellent for access to all the major sites. Thoroughly recommend!
Location
I don’t think it’s 5 star. They charged extra at breakfast for a omelette . The breakfast was very limited. They also charged 50 euro to use the sauna ! In all the other hotels I have stayed at this has never been charged .
Very disappointing experience. When guests raise complaints, they are treated with arrogance and indifference. The reception service is terrible, unwelcoming, and staff members seem permanently stressed, unable to even offer a simple smile.
I was initially placed in an accessible room that I did not book, with a very high toilet, no shower enclosure, and an overall uncomfortable layout. When I complained, the alternative offered was a room next to a very noisy street, which the staff member Mariateresa herself admitted was not worth changing to because of the noise.
The restaurant offers extremely limited options, with prices far too high for the quality delivered. The food is expensive, limited, and unpleasant in taste.
Basic items such as shampoo were not properly replenished in the room, and overall cleanliness was poor.
This was an accumulation of issues that clearly does not justify the investment. There are infinitely better hotel options in Rome. NEVER STAY AT THIS HOTEL.
