Reception area needs to be changed back to former design. Current area hardly does the property justice.

Got it—here’s a warmer, more personal version that feels like something you’d naturally post online:

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
We really enjoyed our stay at The Pines Resort. The staff was so courteous and welcoming, which made a big difference right from the start. The place was spotless and very comfortable. We also loved the location—Beavercreek has so many great places to shop, eat, and just spend time together as a family. It was the perfect mix of relaxation and fun. We’ll definitely coming back.

Pros:

Horrible. The staff was not on the same page with anything. They all told us different things. They told us that there would be a self serve breakfast station. We went in the morning and the restaurant had no idea what we were talking about. The waitress (after we could find her) handed us a menu with a panini or breakfast burrito or smoothie (which they were out) for $20 each. She was rude and disappeared several times. Valet is mandetory for $35 per night, they charge $18 per night for using Expedia which I have never experienced. I charged my client $140 less for the lodging than I shouldve, with all the hidden fees. We could never find staff, they were always out of coffee and rude. Very disappointed and now I dont feel that i should use Expedia, if there will be added hidden fees for using it!

Pros:

The coffee maker should have been a larger Keurig. When the single cup broke down they gave us a full size keurig.

Master shower valve needs replacing. You could not regulate the hot and cold water

Great location and nice to have 3 king beds. Mattress on downstairs left bedroom needs replacing or adjusting. Slants down to the headboard. Still enjoyed the stay.

Pros:

Based on the price I was paying and the Rock Resorts affiliation, I expected a very nice hotel with attentive service. This wasn’t that. On top of the room price is a hefty resort fee, so I asked what that provided and the woman at the front desk said you get to stay here. I asked again, is it a breakfast? Bottle of wine? Late check out? She replied “Nope.” For a two-night stay, no housekeeping is provided, unless you ask. My window wouldn’t lock, the A/C was sporadic, it was more like a tired Hilton than a nicer hotel, but priced such that value was missing.
