Best Western Inn & Suites San Mateo - San Francisco Airport

Check in went well. We weren’t told that the room had no phone, so I had to call the front desk to resolve a problem. We were told the tv had particular channel that we were looking for and it didn’t. The tv was very hard to navigate. The bed was very comfortable and the room was very clean.

Very clean rooms, delicious breakfasts with great selections, and excellent front desk staff (Ed). Thank you!

While the staff was all friendly, they also made multiple mistakes during my stay and didn’t address most. Double charged my deposit, the TV didn’t work, and the Internet didn’t work in my room, and they were out of half of the breakfast items from 7-830. I don’t need perfect and any one of the issues by itself is fine, but all of them together is just a lot. When I brought up to the front desk he promised that his GM would call, of course they never did.

Everyone was very nice. Nice hotel, clean, comfortable, safe & friendly. Would definately stay again.

It was a good stay. Loved the clean sauna. Breakfast needs to have more selection and to be kept fresh. The staff is great, friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean. I would stay there again. Wished the parking was free.

Rooms need a little upgrading. Better TV's, and Cable. Also needs USB jacks, etc for electronics. Other the that, there are no close by stores although they do offer limited rooms service.

Nice place to stay with kids. Clean rooms and close to freeway.

Breakfast options were adequate, the hotel was notably crowded around the waffle-making area due to being at full capacity. I commend the cleanliness of the room and common areas. Wi-Fi was consistently reliable, and the staff were pleasant and attentive. Although the reception staff's demeanor was somewhat reserved, it was not a concern. I expected a brief overview of information such as schedules and Wi-Fi details, but I had to request it. The primary issue was a visible concrete barrier in the indoor parking that is both dangerous and unnecessary, as it offers no functional benefit. I strongly recommend its removal to prevent potential damage to vehicles, as it is not easily visible even with a cone. Be proactive to ensure safety and avoid accidents.

Have been staying in various hotels 3 nights for the past 4 weeks around this area for personal reasons. So far this place has been the best in cleanliness, staff, room, and breakfast. The only complaint is walls are thin. We could hear people talking on both sides of the room and showering on one side.
