Hotel Papadopoli Venezia MGallery. Simply stunning inside and out. The staff were all so attentive, nothing was too much trouble.
Bellissimo
This is a lovely hotel in a very convenient location, close to the Piazzale Roma bus terminal, water bus stops, and the railway station. One of the main reasons we chose this hotel was its proximity to the bus station, as we had an early flight on our departure day, and it worked perfectly for that.
Our room was lovely and included a small balcony. Although we didn’t have much interaction with the staff, everyone we encountered seemed friendly, professional, and welcoming.
There is a nice bar area where you can sit and relax while overlooking the Ponte dei Tolentini bridge and the canal, which was a great spot to unwind. Breakfast was excellent, and the breakfast room backs onto the Giardini Papadopoli landscaped gardens, making for a very pleasant start to the day.
We travelled in January, but I imagine that in the summer months the large doors would be opened onto the patio and gardens, which would be a beautiful setting to enjoy breakfast.
We had an exceptional stay at Papadopoli Venice and left genuinely sad to go. The hotel is beautifully maintained, and the staff were consistently friendly, welcoming, and attentive. The location is fantastic—just minutes from the train station and perfectly positioned for exploring Venice, which is such a wonderfully walkable city.
As Accor Platinum members, we were delighted to receive a generous upgrade to a beautifully decorated room featuring a charming balcony. It was a lovely space to relax and soak in the atmosphere of the city.
The breakfast buffet was excellent, offering a wide variety of high‑quality options, and the housekeeping team was impeccable, providing thoughtful turn‑down service each evening.
All in all, this was a true 5‑star experience from start to finish. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and were genuinely sad to leave. Highly recommended.
This is a beautiful hotel. Our room was Cosy, but very comfortable!
It has a luxurious feel to the whole hotel and all the staff are very friendly and helpful!
We enjoyed drinks in the bar each evening and appreciated the attentive and friendly staff.
Would absolutely recommend this hotel.
Our stay was in December and our room was rather warm but we just opened the window to get some fresh air.
The maid came in twice a day, with the nighttime turndown service which was lovely.
There isn't anything I can fault with this hotel.
The breakfast is fantastic do definitely choose the breakfast option when you book!
Its a great location, as its only one bridge away from the bus station so really easy to find and to get to when you arrive 😀
Great location, clean inside, staff good.
Beds just suck, rooms are small..
Amazing hotel we experience at the tail end of our Italy trip. Hotel is close to the train station. Less than 10 minute walk but you do have to go up and down several sets of steps with your luggage. Also the bus depot is nearby if you need to take a taxi to the airport or from the airport.
Lara was incredibly helpful at the front desk. Mamadouh also was very professional, but the staff was wonderful. Fabio was also vey nice even though I only spoke with him for a short while, but Lara really helped to make our stay memorable. She went above and beyond and gave us great recommendations for cafes and attractions nearby. She took our pictures when we got all dressed up for the restaurant. I would come back to Venice just to stay at this hotel and to be helped by Lara again.
The restaurant seafood risotto was excellent. I wish the dining room was open. We had to dine in the lounge. Not quite the same.
As an American, Venice was very tourist friendly. Everyone was very nice and spoke multiple languages including English.
Not the most central of locations, but you can get a water taxi right to the hotel to go anywhere, and the room service is wonderful!
The Hotel Papadopli we will definitely be back. Wonderful stay and such a beautiful room, the staff were so helpful and even dealt with any queries we had with great professionalism.
Our room got upgraded due to a miscommunication on the website and we got upgraded to a canal view room, the way the staff dealt with it showed sheer class and it made our stay even better.
The decor is a bit garish but it’s a nice, clean hotel with friendly staff and a good shower. Cons: no iron, air con doesn’t appear to be able to be lowered, which matters because it’s Venice there’s mosquitoes in your room so you need to stay under the duvet. Tip: get the breakfast, it’s the best I’ve ever encountered at a hotel.
Everything was great. Staff was very attentive. Breakfast and bar area were great.
Staff and service were both great. Room was ok and kind of dated for the price, but the view was nice. A great spot if you have one night in Venice and need to park in a parking garage. Only a 5 min walk from many garages and the bus station.
Everything was amazing! I would stay there over and over
The hotel is close to the bus loop and is in good shape. The staff at the lounge is excellent.
Great hotel, the staff was attentive. I highly recommend this hotel
This must be one of the nicer hotels in this part of Venice. Our room was more spacious than I expected. The area around the hotel is filled with souvenir shops and food establishments.
If you have any sensitivities to perfume, I suggest you find another accommodation. Upon entering our room, the scent was so unbearable that we could hardly breath, literally. We opened the windows and door to the balcony to get sone relief. We travel a lot and have never had this happen. We heard the toilet paper is perfume scented which is ridiculous. Thankfully it was only for 1 night. It's a beautiful hotel and great location but would not stay here again and would not recommend.
Papadopoli Hotel Venezia – MGallery Collection was excellent in every way: the location, the comfort, and the service were all outstanding. The only small issue was the low water pressure in the shower. If that is improved, this would easily be a true five-star hotel exp
We had an amazing time in Venize and this hotlel was a gem right as you cross onto the main city island of Venice. Just across from the train station with quick access tot he water taxi system and travel around the Canal. The room was beutiful, the staff was excellent. We upgraded to a private balcony where we could enjoy our coffee in the morning, watching People as they explored the canal. We would definetly stay again.

Nice location near to the train and bus station and with it's own pier if arriving by water taxi. Yards from the grand canal but on the side of Venice less traveled by tourists which makes it a delight to get out and just start walking down streets still lived in by locals to restaurants and bars frequented by locals. This is definitely the right side of the Grand Canal to be on.
Great location 5 minute walk from the airport bus drop off parking lot. Canal wrapped around the hotel.
