Breakfast was great. We had a variety of options.
The breakfast didn’t look appetizing, the bathroom in the room filled to the top when flushed. There was hair all over the bathroom. There were some stains on the bed sheets and stains on the curtains. We were not able to operate the tv.
The drug paraphernalia in one room.The other room flooded all the way out into the hallway It was our handicapped room. We ended up being moved across the hall but it was not handicapped and there were none available. Then the electric plug in the bathroom we moved to was not working. I went back to the front desk and Maria said it was probably the breaker that had flipped off. After checking that was the issue. All of the flooding and move to second room created stress as we were getting ready for our nephews funeral.As of now I have not heard back from the hotel manager Mr.Haus Patel for any type of compensation. We had 2 rooms for 2 nights Also had a guess at end entrance of hotel pulled in sideways blocking the area as he cleaned his car. He had everything out of his vehicle around the ground and doorway. The gum on lamp shade was on there and had been for awhile. The pipe was on the sofe mattress as well as a tray found under cushions when removed for our 3 year old granddaughter to sleep on.
I like that the bed was comfortable and the room was cold.
I didn't like the encounter that I had with the guy at the counter. The shower head barely sprayed water out.

Formal Complaint Regarding Check-In Treatment at Best Western
Hello,
I am writing to formally report an issue I experienced during check-in at the Best Western on 12/16/2025 which I found to be unprofessional and discriminatory in nature.
Upon arrival, the reservation was initially under my friend’s name, Ashley, as I did not have my physical ID with me at the time. When Ashley approached the front desk alone, the front desk employee was polite and welcoming. However, when I entered and it became clear that the reservation was intended for me, the employee’s demeanor shifted noticeably and became dismissive and rude.
The employee informed me that check-in was not allowed because we were under 21 years old. I explained that the Best Western website explicitly states that guests must be 18 years old to check in, and I showed this information directly from the website. Despite this, the employee spoke to me in a condescending manner and incorrectly stated that it was “the law” to be 21 to rent a hotel room.
In an effort to resolve the situation, I asked if the reservation could be changed to someone who was 21 years old. The employee stated this was acceptable but said he could not assist and that I would need to change it online myself. I then spent an extended period outside on the phone with customer service attempting to modify the reservation.
After successfully changing the reservation to a friend who is over 21, I returned to the front desk. Despite the issue being resolved, the employee continued attempting to cancel the reservation and remained hostile toward me. It was only when my male friend stated that the room was under his name and was for him and his girlfriend that the employee immediately stopped objecting and allowed the check-in to proceed without further issue.
I found the contrast in treatment troubling and upsetting.
Staff was very professional, and friendly and place were very clean. Handicap room was prefect for my needs.
Staff is very nice. I think ur staff needs a raise. They r very good and very fast
