I had a good shower and slept in a comfortable bed

The bed was comfortable.There was high pressure in the shower

Cons:

There was no coffee maker in the room.The morning staff wasn't very friendly.There was a very strong perfume smell in the room which triggered an allergic reaction. We asked for there to be no carpet in the room and were told there wouldn't be but the room was carpeted

American Inn -a great find in Branford
Pros:

The American inn offered a reasonable price for a room and the service manager was very helpful and accommodating.
The room was clean and v the location was close to dining and beaches.

Clean room, easy parking, quiet and safe location, a diner and Dunkin's within walking distance and a Stop & Shop supermarket across the street. Will definitely stay here again.

No frills motel. Extremely clean!! My husband and I stayed for 1 night and it was exactly what we were looking for. Staff are also very friendly and prompt.

We only stayed one night, quick trip up to see our daughter for family weekend at college. The room was fine for what we needed it for and price wise it was quite economical. It was definitely dated and there were some aspects that needed more attention than others. The dead insects on the windowsill were a little disturbing and the phone looked like it hadnt been cleaned ever. The tub had some serious staining to it. All of these items, again were minor but a little more attention should be paid when cleaning between guests.
