We attended a WhistlePig Bourbon Dinner here, and had the most enjoyable evening. We were seated indoors with a beautiful view of the Waterway and the fire pits outside, with the trees lit up, which created a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The chefs did a great job with the menu, everything was thoughtfully prepared and well-paced. The octopus appetizer and the bison tenderloin stood out, and the courses paired nicely with the bourbon without feeling heavy. The staff was professional, attentive, and genuinely kind throughout the evening. I highly recommend both the hotel and the restaurant, not just for out-of-town guests, but also for locals or anyone looking for a relaxing staycation.
I’m listing the menu below simply to highlight the culinary talent behind the evening, as every course was well executed and memorable.

It was very clean and staff was nice as always
There was a winter storm and they didn’t service the rooms for 2 days. Only provided clean towels, only when asked for
I loved where it’s located, it was very nice to be able to walk places.
No vending machines
Toqufik was friendly and helpful at the front desk making check In, check out very easy and answered my numerous questions throughout the busy dance competition weekend. The kitchen and bar were busy all day and night and the staff remained friendly and calm.
Valet was great! So personalable and friendly! Never had a bad experience with them.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I would like to highlight the excellent service we received from Annalie Mureira during breakfast at Acqua. Her service was truly exceptional and went far beyond what I expected. She was warm, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome. My daughters were especially happy with their decaf drinks topped with whipped cream, which made their morning extra special.
Unfortunately, our experience the night before at the bar was not the best, as the bartender and another server were not very friendly. I completely understand that working on New Year’s Eve can be challenging—I’ve worked many years in the same industry myself.
That said, people like Annalie truly make a difference. She made our day better and ensured we left with a wonderful experience. Her kindness and professionalism are exactly what great hospitality is about.
Nice location in central Woodlands, comfortable bed, large walk in shower, nice view from 8th floor room on canal side of property
Expensive but did not provide included breakfast or wifi unlike other less expensive hotels.
Listen, I’ve been to plenty of hotels, and while this establishment is beautiful.. what stood out to me was the associate at the front desk, LING LING! The Marriot has an ABSOLUTE GEM in this woman! She truly loves what she does, and her smile is contagious! I hope you value her. Due to a wonderful check in, and top notch care, we will be choosing this venue again!
Great Stay,convenient
