Carimar Beach Club

My husband and I stayed 5 nights in a two bedroom villa with another couple. The villa is well-appointed and very comfy. I slept so well every night. The resort is located conveniently to everything you could need or want, like a market and great restaurants. The beach is amazing, and we enjoyed swimming in the beautiful, clear water and kayaking using the included supplies. Highly recommend and hope to go back!

I think this was our 7th trip to Carimar and it gets better and better. Mead’s Bay is THE best beach on the island. Carimar is very comfortable and friendly. Nice accommodations - we were 2 couples sharing a unit. You are a short beach walk to many great restaurants (high end or casual). Carimar is just a great vacation spot if you want island fun in the sun!

This is a great place. They have been making constant improvements to the property including a brand new office and landscaping. We love the kitchen and huge amount of space. The beach is amazing, wide, and white. The water is crystal clear and turquoise. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
I noticed a recent negative review of Carimar that said they loved Carimar but not the properties on either side. That is not fair to Carimar and they have been working with the properties to keep the music volume down. It has been much quieter in the three weeks I have been there.
We will continue to come back every year.

We've stayed here many times over the years, and the property itself is still great, but alas, the changes on Meads Bay are not our cup of tea. Somehow poor Carimar got sandwiched between the extraordinarily LOUD and obnoxious Leon's and the very busy Fun Zone. The number of day trippers right in front of this stretch of the beach are way more than we want to share our vacation with. The number of crazy water activities close to the shore are not what we look for on Anguilla. We ended up traveling to other beaches just to find some peace and quiet. Our last visit to Carimar, and maybe our last to Anguilla. Sad!

Carimar beach club is located directly on Meads Bay between Malliouhana
and Blanchards Restaurant. There are 6 two story buildings with four apartments
each. They feature a fully equipped kitchen, marble bathrooms, tastefully chosen furnishings, and a balcony or patio for relaxation. The grounds crew keep the
gardens perfectly maintained. The staff, from the front office to the housekeepers,
make sure to please every guest. It is the perfect place from which to enjoy your Anguilla vacation. My husband and I have just completed our third year in this
special resort and cannot wait to return next year. Our compliments to all of you!

For the past five consecutive years, my wife and I have been visiting this stunning island, and we consistently choose to stay at Carimar Beach Club, our preferred destination. The office personnel, management team, and other staff members are exceptionally helpful and dedicated to providing assistance with any requirements you may have throughout your stay.

For the first four years, we stayed in a One-Bedroom Oceanfront Room, which we thoroughly enjoyed. However, due to our own personal and financial considerations, we opted for a One-Bedroom Ocean View Room this year, which we found equally delightful (please take a look at all of our vacation photos). While the front office cannot guarantee specific room locations, my wife and I are hopeful to secure the exact Ocean View room we enjoyed this year for all our future vacations at Carimar Beach Club.

When your room is situated just 10 to 40 feet from the water, the convenience and accessibility create an unparalleled moment. The Carimar is a wonderful condo on the best beach of Anguilla. It’s typical Caribbean style. The apartments are well furnished and equipped with everything you need during your stay. When I say everything I say you can find really everything, from the portable fridge, to every single thing you need in the kitchen. They also provide you a mobile phone to call the reception without moving. But the real value is the service and the kindness of the staff. The reception will help in solving any kind of situation and they’ll take care of you making you feel a five star guest.
I’m not going to tell how beautiful is the beach, you should go to Carimar to see it. This is definitely home away home place

Clean quiet property near a lot of dining options. Beach is beautiful and in walking distance. Loved having our own designated umbrella and chairs in the beach.

Incredible, you will have no regrets. Its perfect location to everything including some great restaurants . The staff at Carimar was absolutely amazing and the property was absolutely amazing . Its very well kept and clean. The beach was very clean and perfect for swimming.

Great place. Had an ocean view room (503). Close to grocery store, great room, great beach. Full kitchen and awesome balcony. No pool but we were ok with that as the ocean is steps away. Lots of restaurants nearby. I definitely would come here again

Very clean and nice staff. Doesn’t offer much, it’s really just a beach no pool or walkable areas besides the beach and nothing to do as far as activities go. No restaurants either or seating areas besides the room you book. Next door to DJ Leon’s so it also gets loud to feel like your bed is in the center of a concert from 9pm-1am if hes playing so definitely not a good option if you want to get some sleep in. Grounds are well maintained and staff is very accommodating and clean. Beach is 2 feet away from you, you’re literally on it and towels are provided which is nice. No beachside service though

Carimar is wonderful--very clean, very updated. The staff is super helpful and the cleaning staff is ultra great! We received a unit on the side closest to Leon's after requesting beachfront (sold out) so this is considered beach view. Unfortunately, Leon's is within a few feet, and on random nights they have a DJ that plays house music super loud (with the inflated bass) until 1 am. Our first night, they had a wedding party there, and we had not slept the night before because of connecting flights, so this was our second night of no sleep. Other than that music/noise, we could not be happier with Carimar. We rented a 1/1 but they placed us in a 2/2 and we asked to keep the second bathroom, which was really nice to have and inexpensive ($25 per night). All of the windows and doors have screens, so if you do get a beachfront unit, you could hear waves at night, if Leon's is not playing music. I think that for us, we will be a one and done, but the generously sized units with all the thoughtful additions of home (spices, teas, coffees, creamer in frig, umbrella, cooler, etc included) are really nice. The full kitchen is really nice for some people to have, but we eat out most meals. The bathrooms seem like they were redone just recently and included all amenities of a hotel. The a/c in living room and bedrooms is very cold and we only turned on the living room one. The front porch with all the greenery was sweet and private. I think future stays will depend on whether one can request the far side of Carimar (away from Leon's) and whether beachfront units are available. Very reasonably priced for the value.

Still loving Carimar. We stayed three weeks from Feb to March with friends. The place is always completely full but does not feel that way. The beach chairs are assigned so there is no competition for beach chairs. The water is a giant swimming pool and the sand is like sugar. The units are huge and comfortable. We are not fussy and like to cook in our fully equipped kitchen and dining room because the GST Tax is so high for restaurants that you cannot afford to go out all the time. That's why we like Carimar as opposed to a hotel room.

Just got home after 18 days stay in this amazing resort .This was our 6th stay at this resort and will definitely not be out last.This is a fantastic place to stay.The apartment had everything you need.The staff were always there to help with anything.Carimar always exceeds our expectations every visit is better than the last one.The grounds are beautiful and well maintain.The ladies in the office Cindy Hermia Lavernes thanks for everything.You ladies really made our visit special.Can’t wait to see you guys again.

Fantastic place to stay. The apartment had everything you could need. It was great to have sun beds reserved for you on the beach. The staff were so friendly and helpful and the cocktail party held by the managers was a lovely opportunity to meet your fellow guests.

We stayed at Carimar for the first part of our stay in Anguilla to celebrate my 40th Birthday.

We booked a Beach Front room and ended up in one of the upper units, the view is absolutely beautiful. You are just steps away from the water! They also put your name on your beach chairs during the duration of your stay which I really loved so you didn't have to worry about getting a spot.

The rooms are clean and spacious, and the kitchen is well stocked with about anything you may need during your stay. There is a Best Buy, which is a grocery store, right around the corner so you can stock up on groceries.

Meads Bay is a beautiful beach and Carimar is a great location! It is close to several restaurant options.

Rolf and Lockhart, the manager and assistant manager were both wonderful and accommodating.

If you are thinking about visiting Anguilla, do it! The people are truly amazing and the beaches are beautiful!
