Late check in
Kiosk check in
There were stains on our bed and the skirt
Check in was fairly easy & my room was next to the lobby & entrance door. That was great for unloading & loading the car. The shower was comfortably hot & the fridge comfortably cold.
I did expect some kind of breakfast besides coffee. I don't drink coffee so I was looking for juice. None to be had. Would've appreciated a piece of toast, a piece of fruit or a bowl of cereal.
No staff
Grubby rugs
The room was clean.
No restaurants around, no staff (no check in desk - just a kiosk).
Woke up the next morning and opened our door for it to smell like burnt meth ... Yes I know the smell as I'm a recovering addict. And to say the least was not impressed. People up all night, walking around talking, tv blaring.
The service was friendly
The room was kinda ghetto extremely damp and the water was like rusty or something it was a room to sleep i didnt really have any other options
Beds were comfortable and room was clean
Check in was awkward location wasn't the greatest.
Close to highway
Staff just assumed we checked out and knocked/tried to come into room well before checkout at a one night stay and had very inconvenienced attitudes. They were clearly unhappy with their workplace. Checking in with a kiosk and a video was extremely impersonal and felt very cheap. We could barely close the bathroom door because it rubs against the floor. There was grime and poor quality cleaning everywhere. The price of the room was crazy for a weeknight. I worked at this exact hotel building back in 2008 before moving from the area. Little to nothing has changed except cheap facelifts from paint and carpet in some spots. The parking lot is awful, albeit very well lit in its favor. The beds are extremely uncomfortable. For the price, the value is god awful. Especially compared to the comparably priced hotel up the road that is miles ahead in quality and customer service.
room size was good
B'fast was non-existent. Room was stale. Bathroom was not the cleaned well--hair on floor.
Took an hour for staff to answer my text that the TV didn't work. Then another 20 minutes for anyone to show up. They got the TV to work. Then30 mi uses later it went out again.
It was easy to find and clean.
The whole facility was a bit shabby. I was ok with the clerk being a vid screen. But the guy, on the screen quibbled about the two beds i booked and said he had upgraded us to one king bed. He insisted it was booking.com's issue. I checked my confirmation and it cagily said that i had booked a room, not what kind. I have probably booked fifty hotel rooms on booking and they always say what kind of room you booked or how many beds minimum. I travel with my son so one bed was a no go!
We were very pleased with our stay at the Magnuson Hotel. The hotel was in a very convenient location. I was a bit hesitant about the kiosk check-in process, but it went extremely smoothly and the attendant was very friendly! The room was clean, the air conditioner was quiet and efficient (really nice for sleeping). The beds were comfortable. We felt safe. It was a very nice overnight stay and good value for the money.
We had an unexpected injury on the trails and needed a place to stay for the night. This place was perfect. The beds were comfortable and the location was good. Nothing fancy, but perfect for a place to crash for a night.
I am a wyndham rewards diamond member, but this hotel is my new favorite in Ironwood. Best hotel for the price.
Nothing
Had to change rooms as the first room stunked of pot.
There is no actual attendant for check in. It is a kiosk. Not appreciated
The lobby and entrance are rundown, and check-in was harder due to having to use the kiosk rather than talking to someone in person. They say online that there is breakfast, but there was no food at all, just coffee and hot water with green and herbal tea (no black tea). The ice machine was broken. The price was good, and the room was clean, but we will never return or recommend this hotel to others.
