Disgusting Do Not Stay
Pros:

Save yourself the frustration and book somewhere else. Our recent stay at the Fairfield Inn & Suites Toronto Oakville was an absolute disaster from start to finish. If you are traveling with children or family, stay far away from this property.

To start, the hotel itself is dirty, dated, and thoroughly beat up. Common areas and rooms are poorly maintained, giving the entire place an unkept and unwelcoming feel.

The service and front office staff are entirely unprofessional and lack basic customer service standards. We requested roll-away beds prior to our stay, only to be told upon arrival that none were available. Worse, when we requested a crib for our baby, they provided a bare crib with no sheet. When we asked front desk staff for a sheet, they flatly refused, citing a bizarre hotel policy that they "could not provide additional sheets." Expecting a baby to sleep on a bare crib mattress without a sheet is unacceptable.

To make matters worse, the environment surrounding the property felt completely unsafe. We witnessed blatant drug activity in the parking lot and suspicious behavior consistent with prostitution right on site.

This hotel fails on cleanliness, basic amenities, professional service, and safety. It is entirely unsuitable for families. Look elsewhere for your stay in Oakville.
