Pros:

Breakfast was good. A bit more variety would have been better but what was served was delicious. The hotel was very clean and our kids loved the pool. Overall it was a great experience!

Cons:

They could have a couple different brews of coffee for people who like a bit of a stronger brew. Having a Tim Hortons right next door was a bonus but it would have been nice to not have to buy coffee every morning when a free breakfast was offered.

Nice, quiet stay
Pros:

We just had a quick overnight stay with no complaints. Parking is free with plenty of spaces. Check in was simple as I was able to do a pre-check in. The room was clean and quiet. No complaints about the bed or pillows. Lots of plugs for chargers.
Breakfast was typical. Eggs, bacon, cereal and waffles. I would imagine seating might be an issue as there weren’t a lot of tables but not when I went for breakfast.
A nice stay for a good price.

Disappointing Decline in Quality
Pros:

I stayed at this hotel several years ago and had a great experience—clean rooms, friendly staff, and excellent service. Unfortunately, things have changed drastically. In an apparent effort to cut costs, the owners have compromised on basic standards.

The rooms are no longer clean, with noticeable odors and stained bed sheets. The breakfast buffet has declined in both quality and variety. During rainfall, the roof leaks, which is unacceptable. Additionally, the staff is no longer welcoming or helpful.

This hotel once had potential, but it now falls short of even basic hospitality expectations. I hope the management takes serious steps to restore its former standards.

Fairfield Missed
Pros:

You know you’re not booking into the Ritz. Especially when the double lock inside your room spins and doesn’t actually lock. And when the plate glass window in your room has a massive crack. And when the woman at the front desk barely looks up from texting and preempts your words by telling you the other woman is the one to answer your question. Not up to Marriott standards. Not close.
