Best priced hotel that’s close to UVA. Decent pool. Breakfast was good.
The walls were peeling and drooping. The carpets had stains everywhere. The elevator sounded like it was in its last leg. The smell of “old” stale air filled the hallway. The bed felt like the springs were trying to escape through the mattress. The bathtub was shaped like a sharp V shape. Couldn’t stand flat footed in the shower. The shower space itself was tiny. Too many homeless or randoms walking around vehicles, scoping around.
Good place
Pool it is cold like 5min no thank you
The location is pretty good and the breakfast was very good.
Everything is old, Warren, and tired out. Our room was very worn and dated. The most important part of a hotel stay, the mattresses, were old, sagging, and pretty uncomfortable. The air conditioner in the room barely worked. There were a couple of holes in the walls. The carpeting on the floor was worn and almost sticky from many years of use.
I liked the complimentary breakfast.
I didn’t like how the shower knob to turn the water on/off and set the temperature was broken upon our arrival. Plus the toilet did not flush properly.
Very good location for a visit to Charleston.
Old and run down. Beds are very soft and saggy.
they allowed the homeless in the building able to walk the floor
The location
Ants in rooms and on the bed, sticky furniture. Seems to be going a bit downhill since our last stay here.
The only upside was the water pressure.
The bathroom door was busted, the carpet was sticky, and the room was very small. All in all, it looked dirty and gross. Parking sucked and the people hanging around the outside of the hotel were suspicious.
Surprisingly quiet.
Hard to get into from 64.
It was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good
