I didn't touch breakfast.
The biggest problem was the smoke (I'm asthmatic and 79 years old). That's not Wyndham's problem at all. Nevertheless, having to either go up the elevator carrying my stuff and then walking the length of the hotel, about 300 feet total distance, or go up four flights of stairs (2 floors) near my room, was a pain.
The other problem I encountered was that Booking.com changed my stay from two nights to one night (I don't know when or how this happened, obviously something I did or didn't click on) and I didn't notice the change until I had paid. That wasted about two hours trying to figure out what happened, calling Booking, then calling the hotel, and getting a run-around. Very frustrating. All I wanted to do was change the reservation back to two days, but that seemed to be impossible, so I had to rebook. Very frustrating. I have no idea whose problem this was, but it made me pretty angry. I've spent about 50 years as a software engineer, so I'm not your typical customer. I know how hard the software job is, but I pay attention to details and user interfaces and I don't often make stupid mistakes.
I only liked the locations. Walkable to the stores and restaurants
Not all staff was bad. But did not like the staff working, they smoke in front of hotel in groups.
Did not like they advertise breakfast, but did not serve.
I was told to read the fine print next time, not all Econ travel lodges host breakfast.
Did not like the no cleaning of the rooms, even when requested.
Very out dated. I have very bad impression of booking .com for allowing place like this on there site.
Bed bugs.
I wish I could get a refund.
Mostly clean. Free parking.
Horrible value for the price. Lumpy pillows, tiny tv, sink is in the sleeping area, very strange setup. No breakfast for nearly $200 a night. Rough towels.
It's a perfectly fine hotel if you just need a bed for a night or two. The staff were friendly, and the room was clean, although it had an odd smell. There is a fitness center. The hotel is right behind a Safeway, which was convenient for grabbing a quick meal.
There are virtually no amenities. There was a bar of soap provided, but that's all. There were no towels or water in the fitness facility. There was no ice bucket, or cups, or coffee maker in the room.
It was clean and staff was very good.
My room was listed as a Mobility Accessible room. The beds are to high, I would not say that this qualities as accessible. I had to go get a step stool and hand rail just to be able to get in bed.
Leaving. It was disgusting
The bathroom towels were dirty from the people before us and hung back up by staff. No toilet paper in the bathroom. Floors stained our socks black. Mold in shower and room window. Musty smell in room, non safe parking lot. Staff said its a known drug lot and homeless hangout. Half the lights in our room burnt out or flickering like a horror movie. Kink had someone boogers in it and on mirror. Fridge was all slime inside and stunk like mold. Beds were made of concrete i think. I have stayed in $50 a night motel 6 that put this place to shame. So 175 I feel robbed. Missing a tool box off my truck. Downstairs ice machine is covered in grease hand prints and mold. And when I stepped away from the counter the man working there was talking very foul to the female staff. It was a nightmare I had to put my wife and 3 little kids through. Probably won't use the app after this being yall referred me and will never visit that site again.
better accommodations for a little more money
shower valve stuck. wifi was down for most of the stay. parking at the opposite end of the building from yhe room
Room was basic and clean.
I was surprised by a $50 hold on my credit card in case of "damages" . I wouldn't think this would be necessary as I paid for the room by a credit card.
Also the rooms must have fairly thin walls as I heard very clearly the television in the room next to me. It seemed like the beds were located on a wall that shared the television from the other room. Fortunately the other guest did turn it off by 10:30 pm.
Easy to find
The lack of security cameras in the parking lot. Also, I paid for a room on booking.com and then when I got to the hotel, they said they were charging me a $50 refundable deposit. However, they charged me for the entire price of the room and nothing was refunded.
