The location was great, everything is within walking distance. The room is roomier compared to other hotel around the area.

Cons:

Room was not very clean and we were in the “newly renovated North wing”. As I was looking around the bed, I found a bug (not sure what kind) crawling on it. The sheet had black dot stains and one of the pillows had black smudges. There is no breakfast on site or any kind of restaurants. Staff wasn’t friendly, we were left waiting to check-in when arrived even though one staff was available, no smiles or anything, honestly we wouldn’t stay here again.

An amazing stay, would definitely stay here again.

North building amazing! Gorgeous accommodations. Loved high ceilings and balconies! Walk in shower was wonderful ( no nasty tub!). Parking convenient. Everything so clean and gorgeous! Bummer no vending machine in north building for a late night soda . But otherwise. AMAZING!!!

Wonderful stay with perfect location
Pros:

Excellent location.

Cons:

Our ocean front king room was spacious comfortable and clean. Easy access to restaurants wi 1-2 blks. Nice pool and grassy area to relax. Staff super friendly and helpful.

We really enjoyed staying at Harbor View Inn! Very nice & roomy ocean view king room. Close to shopping & across the street from the beach & boardwalk pier. Weather was perfect. Highly recommend this hotel & location!

The entire hotel was first class. The employees were exceptional. location was as good as you could find.

We love Harbor View Inn and would stay again and recommend it to everyone.
Pros:

This was our 2nd stay. We love the room, the location, the beach, the grounds, the amenities, the covered parking garage.

Cons:

We had issues with the heating/cooling system causing the room to get hot to 85 degrees or cool down to 62. The staff was very responsive to come to our room and try and fix the problem. It would work temporarily but the extreme swing between hot and cold would return. The issue continued for 3 nights, and it was finally determined that the system was broken. Management got us moved to new equivalent room. So, we were tended to, but we really had to advocate and push for ourselves as opposed to management being more proactive with follow up.
