One motel to avoid in E. Lansing
Pros:

The location was reasonably close to campus, which is the only reason I picked this motel.

Cons:

I didn't realize it was a motel. The rooms were shoddy and run down and kind of gross. We could hear everything next door and above us.

Bad cannabis smell
Pros:

Location was good.

Cons:

Smelled terrible. Heavy cannabis smell. Made it hard to breathe, made eyes uncomfortable. Bathroom and carpet dirty. Won't stay there again.

Triple charged for one room and no one can fix it
Pros:

The room was fine and clean.

Cons:

I was charged THREE times for one room. The rates were already sky high because it was parents weekend so they billed me nearly $1000 for one night stay in a motel. When I called to let them know about the error, the front desk said they could see they had charged me three times but only the general manager could fix it and they won’t be in for nearly a week. I had to make a credit card dispute for the additional two rooms.
