It was ok. Fairly cheap for the area and the staff were great.
Cons:

It was a really hot night and of the three sash windows only two opened, and then by only a few inches, and didn't stay open! Jammed one with a mug, the other with the TV remote 🫣

Breakfast was ok for the price but the coffee was undrinkable.

Cons:

They do not have any air-con built-in,, during the hottest day in decades, I was having a pre-cooked lasagne at the bar with just a fan, and whole body of sweat with me.

Bathroom is very old and light is barely working inside. Shower looks like 40 years old/ There was a lightbulb on the mirror but i found it is only decoration.

Not worth the price at all
Cons:

1-no ac
2-no room service, you cannot order anything to your room
3-the windows are impossible to open
4-some workers need to cheer up significantly
5-the tv did not work
6-the toilet’s door literally locked itself from inside, there is an issue with the lock. I couldn’t open the toilet door in the morning when I had to go somewhere and my clothes were inside the toilet. I was late because of this because I was trying to unlock the toilet door from outside

Pros:

Another lovely stay, Staff are very helpful and generous.
The hotel is dated but clean and very tidy.
Super breakfast and evening meal.
We were treated well in the heatwave and have no complaints.

Your mushrooms are the best hotel mushrooms!

Nice hotel, little bit dated room, very comfy bed, we were on the 2nd floor and it was very hot..on the plus side nice and quiet.
Lovely staff, all very helpful , excellent breakfast..
Only a 10 minute bus journey into the middle of Bristol. That cost £2.60 pp each way..
Overall we enjoyed our overnight stay in the hotel.
The hotel is set outside of the town in beautiful grounds to the rear of the building.

Cons:

Only the fact that the room was so hot.

Perfect for what we wanted at an affordable price.
Pros:

Good location just on the edge of Bristol, with a bus stop outside and buses running frequently to the city centre.
Supermarket, restaurant and McDonald's very near.
Cheap car parking.
Nice breakfast.

Cons:

We arrived an hour before check in and had to wait for the room to be prepared, this wasn't an issue but the room wasn't ready at 3. We only had to wait about 10 minutes more.
