Future Inns Halifax

We loved our 3-night stay at the Future Inn, and we hope they build more of them. Our room was roomy and well-equipped, with a fridge and microwave and a spacious bathroom. Good wi-fi. The queen-size beds were wonderful - firm without being hard. Lots of shopping nearby, with plenty of food choices, including the hotel's own Redwood Grill. We highly recommend.

Was so noisy all night!

We enjoyed our stay at Future Inns and found this to be a very convenient location. It was an easy 20 minute drive to downtown Halifax and we had quick access to the roads to Peggy's Cove and Lunenburg. Accomodations were clean, comfortable, and affordable.

Location was good. Good place to stay for a night after arriving in Halifax. Room was comfortable and clean.

Nice room, comfortable bed & pillows, excellent staff. Only issue was noise from the highway all night.

Clean and neat

Room was very nice and clean, and the bed was great. The shower was TERRIBLE.

Arrived at this hotel yesterday after a drive from Bouladerie NS. The front desk associate was very friendly and pleasant but had a strong Asian accent which was hard to understand. I made the reservation through booking.com and had been charged prior to my arrival yesterday. I confirmed this with the front desk but the young man still insisted that I swipe my credit card to be charged 100.00 for "incidentals" during my stay. He explained that it would be used for such things as dinner or breakfast at the hotel restaurant and/or room service. If not used, my card would be credited 100.00 in about 5 -10 business days. I refused to swipe my card and be charged for something I was not intending to use in the first place and the front desk attendant reluctantly agreed. This left a bad taste in my mouth as this was the 6th hotel I booked during our 2 week East Coast road trip itinerary and no other hotel that I have had experience with has requested this practice.
This said, the hotel itself is very clean and welcoming. The rooms are large with 2 double beds, desk, arm chair, luggage ledge, fridge, microwave, keurig coffee maker and trimmings, iron, ironing board and closet. Wall scones on the headboards with plenty of electrical outlets. The bathroom was nice and clean and large. Huge vanity, shampoo, conditioner, body wash and hand soap supplied. Nice towels and a hair dryer. Lots of restaurants nearby and a gas station right across the street (Circle K/Irving). Great location. Breakfast is available in the hotel restaurant starting at 7:00 am).
Because of the 100.00 incidental incident, I would not return to this hotel.

Fairly new property, modern and clean.

Reasonably priced, nice room, comfortable bed

The king suite is great if you want more room. Restaurant good but a bit expensive. No pool or free breakfast - worth mentioning as easy to miss though stated. Very nice employees, clean and good place.
