If you want to ruin your trip and your impression of Paris — this is the place to stay.
Pros:

The only positive aspect of this hotel is its location near the Moulin Rouge. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end.

Cons:

The issues started at check-in. In the pre-arrival communication, I was clearly informed that standard check-in begins at 15:00, and early check-in would cost €20–30. I arrived at 12:30 and asked whether my room was ready. The receptionist confirmed that it was ready and that I could check in immediately — but only if I paid €70. He then “kindly” offered a discounted rate of €60.

It is unclear how a ready room at 12:30 qualifies as a premium early check-in rather than a standard courtesy. When I showed the written confirmation with the previously stated price, I was suddenly told that the room was “not ready.” I left my luggage and returned a few hours later, where a different staff member checked me in politely and without any issue. However, the initial interaction left a very negative impression and raised serious concerns about transparency.

The room itself presented additional problems. The toilet is installed so close to the wall that it is physically uncomfortable to use — there is not enough space for a normal seated position. This is not a minor inconvenience but a basic usability issue.

The final concern occurred on my last morning. I opened a bottle of water provided by the hotel, which had a strong, unpleasant smell resembling stagnant water and was clearly undrinkable. I brought it to reception, where — coincidentally — the same staff member was present. I asked him to smell and taste it. While he tried to insist that everything was normal, he avoided actually drinking it himself. No apology or proper response was provided.

Overall, this experience reflects poorly on both service standards and basic quality control. If you are looking for a comfortable and trustworthy stay in Paris, I would strongly recommend considering other options.

Alternatively, this hotel might serve as a memorable gift — for someone you truly dislike.

Great location, good staff but could do with a few updates

Great location, free coffee and easy bag storage

Cons:

The room we stayed in wasn’t as advertised and could’ve been a bit more modern. Most of the room was tidy but loads of dust under the bed sadly!

Pros:

Locatie en nabijheid van veel restaurants. Super aardig personeel, vooral de dame bij check-out. Leuke decoratie van kamer en publieke ruimtes.

Cons:

Ik sliep aan de voorkant. Veel rumour van passanten, wasgoed deliveries en vuilnis ophalers.
Douche extreem klein. En hangertjes zonder haak…. Alsof ik ze wil meenemen….
