A short but enjoyable stay.
Pros:

The location was spot on, the Manor sits in lovely grounds. We had a room in the courtyard as we had our elderly Bichon with us, it was comfortable, quiet, clean and nice and warm. The only down side was room 20 has three steps to enter, only a minor thing, as having to carry dog up & down steps. The hotel was very obliging with lovely friendly staff good food and great value. Barney enjoyed his stay, thank you.

Wow! AN AMAZING STAY AT FLITWICK MANOR HOTEL
Pros:

WOW Where do I start..... This is now the 3rd time we have stayed at Flitwick manor hotel and it gets better amd better each time we have stayed. We were greeted upon arrival by a cheerful young lady who took us to our room. She told us we could have our dinner and breakfast in our room if we preferred as we were staying in the garden room suite. She was so polite and so accommodating. We had our evening meal and it was delicious 😋.
In the morning we were greeted by Charlotte and Will who as always were cheerful, professional and couldn't do enough for us including our dogs, who thoroughly enjoyed their sausage breakfast! Charlotte and Will are a marvellous asset to the establishment and I trust their hard work is recognised by the owners. We will be returning in March 2026 as we would not stay anywhere else but the Flitwick manor hotel.

Pros:

Room was comfortable however bath was small and positioned under a slope wall making the shower pretty useless as it wasn’t possible to stand up. Overall, a bad design in the room I was in.
However, the hotel is in a nice countryside setting and the staff are really friendly. Would stay again but choose a different room.

Thanks to the excellent staff !
Pros:

A beautiful old Manor House, set in gorgeous grounds however a little tired and in need of internal refurbishment and upgrading
Only taken over last year by new owners, and already has had the roof completely renewed being Grade II listed makes building work very lengthy to get approved
However the greatest asset this hotel has are the marvellous staff !
We met most of them over our 3 night stay and they were truly exceptional
So thank you ..... Faith......Holly......Charlotte......Maisey.....and Elouise
We look forward to our next visit
Bye the way, the breakfasts are fresh cooked to order and excellent too

Lovely dog friendly hotel in beautiful setting.
Pros:

Great, large room, well appointed, would benefit from freesat access for TV. Easy access outdoors for our dog, Food eaten in lounge as we wanted to be with our dog BUT would have benefited from tables and chairs to sit at not coffee table. Evening meal good, did not have breakfast. Good value for money, very friendly staff throughout. Would stay again

Reportedly haunted hotel, defiantly a scary room
Pros:

I stayed in room 19, which was advertised as a premium room.
The room was in poor condition, the carpets and facilities were below average, and the general cleanliness was poor.

The rest of the hotel appeared okay, with excellent and attentive staff, and super service throughout.

The dining was also to a good standard.

Nice, but should be better
Pros:

Hotel is a nice but old building, the grounds are amazing however the drive is deep gravel, very unnerving to drive on.
I was put in a disabled room, the tv could not receive a lot of the channels that should have been available, the shower was very poor taking a while to heat up and the smallest showerhead you can get, more in keeping with a youth hostel or trade/builders room.
Staff were friendly but very casually dressed, no uniform and not what you expect to be greeted with at this type of hotel.
The bar was not fully manned, but we was served quite quickly but no draught beer or cider just Guinness etc from cans.
There was no wifi information, i.e. password, nor was the breakfast prices available

Filthy bedroom
Pros:

On arrival greeted by a charming receptionist who escorted us to our ground floor room .
Wow what a shock.
Filthy is an understatement.
Stained mattress , moth eaten carpet dirty bathroom this room should be reported to environmental Health .
Pictures attached.
Obviously following a 4 hour drive to get there , we couldn’t stay in such a hovel and pay £193 for the pleasure .
Management take note.

Welcoming, comfortable, quiet, relaxing
Pros:

Very welcoming, very comfortable, very quiet, very relaxing. We had a huge room, very well laid out and designed, which kept the nature and age of the building intact while incorporating all the modern amenities one would expect. The bathroom was clean and well-equipped. Large bed, very comfortable with lovely pillows. Really good selection at breakfast, and the full English was perfectly cooked and delicious. All the staff were lovely, very friendly. Yes, the building is old and shows some tired edges, and some areas could do with a little updating; however, there appears to be some work going on to rectify this, and it certainly didn't detract from our visit. We only stayed for one night, but wouldn't hesitate to book again if we were in the area.

A long weekend stay
Pros:

The welcome as we stepped through the door was amazing, and all members of staff were friendly and helpful throughout the weekend.

This is a hotel with a long history, and full of character and charm. Ownership has recently changed and they will admit that repairs and renovations are needed and intended over time, but each and every room is different and we had a wonderful stay in a lovely room complete with four poster bed. We had booked a Gourmet Getaway first night to celebrate my husband’s birthday, and were not disappointed. The dinner choices of lamb and steak were delicious, as were starters and desserts.

While we were there, a small wedding reception was held and everything looked perfect for the wedding party. Unlike some hotels we have stayed at, the wedding did not have any adverse affect on other guests.

Thank you everyone at the Manor.

Definitely worth a stay
Pros:

We stayed for just one night but in the short time we were there we were so impressed with the staff. Everyone is really friendly and nothing is a bother to them. Charlotte served us at breakfast and although the food was great, Charlotte made the experience excellent, she definitely deserves a pay rise! The great staff and beautiful grounds made for a great stay

100% staying here again
Pros:

What a lovley hotel, the staff are amazing, my room wasn’t ready, but as I had a wedding to go to they got me as soon as they could, which was fantastic, being Eid there taxis were very limited, however they go me one right away. They all made you feel welcome. The room was spotless, the shower was dripping and was told it would be fixed whilst I was out. Which it was when I got back, however it started dripping early morning, but it didn’t bother me.
The bed was super comfy. Next time I visit family , I will be 100% staying here.
