Great location, but rooms don’t match the rating
Pros:

The hotel is very well located, close to Plaça de Catalunya and La Rambla, which made it easy to get around the city.

Breakfast was decent, nothing special, but fine. The lobby is modern and creates a good first impression.

As a nice gesture, we were welcomed with two cookies and a handwritten note congratulating our 5th anniversary, which was thoughtful and appreciated.

However, the room itself was disappointing. It felt quite dark and outdated. There was a kettle provided, but no coffee, only coffee milk, which was confusing. The bathroom also wasn’t up to standard, with visible dirt between the tiles and poor lighting.

Overall, the hotel lacks amenities and doesn’t quite feel like a true 4-star property. The location and small gestures are positives, but the room quality and overall experience don’t fully match the rating.

Pros:

The location is really nice. Close to a lot of places to visit. The room was very nice, spacious and clean. The hotel is ok. Just ok because for that money I just expected something more.

Cons:

The breakfast was not great. It's was tasty, don't get me wrong. But again, I guess my expectations were just higher.

Cons:

We really enjoyed our stay; the breakfast was superb- from the hot offerings, to the baked goods and cold offerings. The staff in this area were friendly; something very nice to wake up to in the morning; and the breakfast room is large and very nice.
