The Westin Charlotte

Stayed at the Westin in Charlotte for the Chosen conference. The hotel was wonderful and extremely accommodating. The rooms were clean and great. Along with all the great amenities. I parked my vehicle with the valet, Brogan and Daniel helped me park and retrieve my car. They did a wonderful job. If I’m ever back in Charlotte, I’ll definitely come back.

The valet team was super effective and efficient, helping us move a lot of cars over a busy weekend

The rooms are clean, spacious and well maintained. We were lucky that breakfast was included in the Westin Lounge. That is also a good place to hang out if you have time on your hands. Security is good in that you need to use the keycard in the lift to get to your floor. Check in and check out were efficient. The detraction from the score was the expectation that guests would take their own luggage to and from the rooms. We saw a number of guests taking luggage trolleys to their rooms to collect their luggage. It is a ling time since i have been in a hotel where this is the norm.

Terrible booking experience, incompetent front staff. I booked for an Executive, I called the hotel to do a credit card authorization form and received confirmation of it back.
I then called the hotel to let them know his flight was canceled and he would be arriving tomorrow due to weather. During that time they were supposed to update the reservation check in date and I asked to confirm the cc authorization form I received from the Manager Paul Stubbs.
They said they had two reservations for this person and one was cancelled and the cc authorization form was on the cancelled reservation. That was impossible since I booked his reservation, had one reservation and confirmation number. So they sent me another form to fill out and told me they updated check in date. I call first this this AM to confirm the cc authorization form and reservation as I see a charge went through for the night he was to arrive but was changed to today. They again did not have the cc authorization form, the hotel check in date wasn't updated like they said it was and now I am to dispute the night. The lady put me on hold for 15 mins and never got back to me.
Terrible customer service, Paul Stubbs should be embarassded.

Very comfortable bedding. Great amenities. Great restaurant in hotel. Excellent, helpful staff.

A very large typical Westin — recently been fully refurbished so four stars. Across the street from the convention center, so feels a bit impersonal with the majority of guests wearing name badges ;-)

Room are clean, but compact. Bathrooms are clean, but also very compact. Housekeeping is very good. Check-in has generally been smooth.

Would be nice if they put a little convenience store/marketplace in the hotel since there really is nothing around it. Just typical downtown business district restaurants though there is a Whole Foods two blocks down.

The hotel room was very clean and comfortable. The comforters were soft yet kept me warm. The 'elite' breakfast buffet was excellent, but the highlight was the service. When you walk in, Ms. Celeste is the first person to welcome you at the desk. She is very polite and provides excellent customer service; her greeting is heartfelt, and she is always willing to answer any questions.

Awsome stay for football games. Close to stadium, NASCAR HOF.

Rooms were small but just what was needed. Front desk was kind and welcoming to kids. Won’t hesitate to stay here again for business or pleasure
