This is a lovely little hidden gem, slightly off the beaten path, but close enough to the heart of Puerto Plata to still be convenient. The hotel is bright and welcoming, and the rooms are spacious, comfortable, and clean. The area is safe and walkable to shopping and numerous dining options, and the beach is a 25 minute walk away. The owners are wonderful people who genuinely care about the comfort of their guests. They provided lots of great information about the area, and they were very responsive to our needs and requests during our stay. To top it all off, they serve a delicious daily breakfast. We can't recommend Gaia Residence highly enough!

What a lovely hotel. Owners on site, great communication from the start. Amazing breakfast. Recommendations for restaurants, activities, taxi service given. Room felt just like home. Super spacious, comfortable, modern decor, great AC + fan, sofa to watch movie on TV wt streaming apps & fast Wifi. Felt well rested. Restaurants, grocery store and more in walking distance. Super secure, in gated neighborhood

this property was so clean and everybody was so nice. Breakfast was delicious. The room was clean and the property was easy to get to. They even send us through WhatsApp places where we could go visit and place where we could go to eat when I go back to Puerto Plata, I will be definitely staying in Gaia Residence.

This little gem is awesome! It's a family owned business. Has all the amenities, private pool, free breakfast & WIFI, Netflix, Flat screen TV, maid service excellent, food excellent. Quiet and relaxing in a great location in gated area. A must for anyone! I will be back! Highly recommend.

Excelente servicio por parte de los anfitriones, las habitaciones son amplias, cómodas y muy limpias, debo decir que ame la regadera del baño! El desayuno excelente con variedad de opciones: huevos, jugos, café, fruta, pan, todo de buena calidad y muy higiénico. Muy buena ubicación cerca de Playa Dorada, el lugar muy tranquilo y seguro. Excelente estancia en general!

Hosts are wonderful and very helpful. Very clean, excellent service, and great breakfast. Very close to the malecón and food seafood restaurants. Bed was a bit hard.
