I got in on Friday un packed and then found that the TV did not work, it came apparent that the areial from the wall socket was not in the tv and it was not a simple case of putting it back in I spoke with the reception team who advised they couldn't do anything except putting me in another room...
Reasonable for the price
All good
Comfortable hotel, convenient for our needs. Good breakfast. Good value all round
We booked online and arrived after a 2.5 hour drive to be told we couldn’t stay overnight as we had no ID. Nowhere in the booking process were we told that. So they turned out me and my 16 year old nephew and we had to drive 2.5hours home. He missed his chance at go kart racing and I’ve lost lots of money. Awful attitude from the staff. They first asked for ID from both of us then my nephew only( not needed under 18!!). Then they said to call the police which would have been preferable to being insulted and humiliated. This didn’t happen. They didn’t know what they were doing and were rude and inconsiderate.
The Hotel is slightly old fashioned however it was very clean and fresh looking paintwork , a few marks on carpet but to be expected as it is used by lots of different people the bed was very clean and comfortable x i had a meal in the Bar/ restaurant it was very nice and good value,
also , i would certainly stay again as the staff were excellent and very friendly x and helpful xthank you for a very pleasant stay
Hot was fine but didn’t get told about paying for parking so got fined by company who own car park hotel don’t own car park
Ok place. You get what you pay for. It was in my budget. Clean & safe!
I was welcomed by Omar, who made sure I was properly squared away for parking, food and room. Thank you so much
Room was not cleaned from previous guest stay. There was business in the toilet, curly hairs in the bed and an unhoovered floor. Room definitely had not been cleaned - it was disgusting. They changed my room as soon as I told them. New room seemed cleaner but seeing the last room meant I didn’t want to use any facilities plus there were stains on the wall and the bed frame.
Basic but fine.
Charging customers for parking now.
The overall was not so bad, even though we've found the toilet dirty and some of the stuff are not so welcoming, he looked more like a club bouncer. He was even rude.
The room was quite nice and comfortable.
There was no phone to call the reception, though.
I am disappointed about the car park which you have to pay for separately.
Value for money. Clean and tidy. Stayed a couple of nights while visiting family so didn't need much more than a comfy bed. Having to pay for parking within the complex was a little odd but I suppose it's just to stop non-guests using the car park.
The Campanile is a good hotel to use the only problem with it is that you have to pay to park your car there the other issue is that you have to ask to get your room cleaned or go to reception to get towels.
Our stay at the Campnile is what we expected as we have stayed there before, if you like pretty basic and cheep and its just somewhere to sleep then this is ideal it ticks all the boxes, you don't have to eat or drink at the hotel as within a five minute walk you are into Fenny Stratford where there is a host of takeaways, restaurants, pubs all providing food and drink. so if your looking for just somewhere to rest your head then this is ideal.
Not an enjoyable stay. Very date decor and feel.
Sadly, the hotel a stale smell as you enter.
Had I not arrived so late I would’ve cancelled and went elsewhere
Very dated unclean and the corridors smelt of weed!!!
We were just looking for a hotel room to stay the night, this hotel provided the ideal room for the stay we required, we had previously stayed there before but on arriving hoe now found you have to pay to park your car there which we didn't have to last time we stayed, also as well as paying for your room you now get asked to pay a £20 deposit for each night you stay which is refundable after 5days? i am still waiting for mine and its been 6 days since we stayed there.
Check out was a real problem … no one on reception and all the doors locked. This seems to be an ongoing issue at this hotel.
Staff are really irritating knocking on peoples doors doing military walks of the corridors i understand making noise could be annoying when it’s late but they made an issue of us just talking at like 6pm
