The location is great

Cons:

We were there during the FIFA World Cup 2026, and despite the fact that it was shown on free TV everywhere, the TVs in this hotel did not offer that. Also, you only get your room cleaned if you request at the reception the same day before 9 am. That is an inconvenience for the guests and lost tips for the housekeeping staff.

If you have a truck you can’t park. Not historical, just old and not taken care of
Pros:

The property is right I. The downtown area and it has comfortable beds. That is about it.

Cons:

The parking. Do not use this hotel if you have a truck. The parking lot is extremely small and you will be paying for parking that does not accommodate a truck at all. Compact cars only. We had to fold in the mirror just to go down the alley. The lock on the door broke. The hotel is “historical” but is not kept up at all. I work for a historical property. This is not how it is to be presented. Falling apart and old is not historical. Holes in walls not even covered up. Items held up with sticky tack.

Ich möchte mich nicht wiederholen.
Pros:

Das Beste war die Lage der Unterkunft. Direkt in der Nähe des Riverwalk und die Sicht auf den Tower of Amerika. Unser Frühstück haben wir selbst organisiert.

Cons:

wir haben nichts zu beanstanden. Was soll man da noch erwähnen.

I enjoyed how there was always something to do within walking distance.

Cons:

Honestly everything was great, however I was a unsatisfied with the parking the hotel offered. I paid in advance but I had trouble with other guest parking in my designated spot that didn't have a permit to do so and I ended up having to pay for additional parking across the street. The staff was helpful but due to the time I came back to the hotel made it a nuisance to find the unauthorized guest in the parking spot. I really hope they figure out a better system because I always enjoy my stay at o'brien hotel

Excellent location & a nice, comfortable hotel
Pros:

Location is fantastic! 5-10 minute walk from the Riverwalk & most of Downtown. Also has a bus stop right outside, which is handy & gets non drivers around pretty easily.

Room was clean & comfortable - the bed especially was very comfy & the room thankfully had very good AC, as it was very hot outside when I stayed in June!

Staff were polite, friendly & helpful with a slightly earlier check in, which I was very grateful for!

Felt really good value & overall was a very pleasent stay.

Cons:

The lighting in the room could have been be better, but minor issue really - was clean & comfortable, which was more important.

Would love to stay here again - a beautiful city and great accom.
Pros:

The character of the building was stunning. A close walk to town as well but very quiet. The bed was extremely comfortable and we enjoyed our two night stay. There was a fridge and coffee making facilities in the room.

Cons:

As an Australian, we missed not having a kettle in the room.

Wir empfehlen dieses Hotel ohne Einschränkungen. Wir wollten nur eine Nacht bleiben und hätten gerne noch die Lage des Hotels, die Nähe zum Riverwalk länger genutzt. Die Parksituation direkt neben dem Hotel in einem Parkhaus ist sehr unkompliziert. Insgesamt war es ein gelungener Tag und eine sehr ruhige bequeme Nacht in San Antonio, der Perle von Texas ....
