Falta de mantenimiento, habitación sucia, aire acondicionado deficiente y un desayuno extremadamente limitado.
We got in pretty late and the front desk associate said they were fully booked, so when I found hairs on my pillowcase and discovered that the A/C didn't work, I figured there were no other rooms in the Inn. The front desk did say that we could 'reset' the A/C by unplugging, waiting 30 seconds, and re-plugging. Didn't work. Shift change and the new front desk guy came up and pushed a reset button on the plug to get it going. I asked him as he was coming down the hall why the hall reeked of THC vape and he just smiled and said "yeah." The walls are also so thin that you will hear your neighbor's discussions and TV and rumblings in the hallway (after midnight).
But we endured, as it was about $90 for the night. Next morning, we went to the 'hot breakfast' and there was nothing hot unless you count the make-your-own waffles. So we drove to Elmos in Durham.
I checked out the fitness room (I was directed there upon arrival when I asked where I could fill my water bottle) and it was steamy and in a dank room at the end of the bottom floor. It had a regular water fountain, so filling the water bottle wasn't a simple task. All in all, this place is just not an inviting place to stay.
The room was affordable and in a good location.
There was so much humidity in the room the floor was wet & pillows were damp.
I left a request letting the hotel know my flight had me coming on after 12am, my flight was delayed and I did not arrive till 2am. The hotel was completely booked, save my one room he kept for me, others have rented out rooms even with a booking before.
I respect the fact they turned away customers because they honored the reservation even though i was late due to delays .
Some minor cosmetic repairs in the bathrooms to make it feel less, run down? The air-conditioning seemed like it was struggling, but i could be wrong I was only in the room for 7 hours.
The hotel is old and they did try to update it. The trash outside the main entrance was overflowing and was very unkept. The doors to the hotels are very thin and you can hear all things outside in the hallway.
Proximity to the airport was the only thing I liked about this property.
We had a king size bed room, but it was definitely not a king size bed. There was an overall weird smell and the comforter was stained and dirty.
The beds were comfy and it was clean in there
Nothing
The phone in my room had no dial tone. I work for a telecom company so I troubleshot and found their outlets are rusted and inoperable. I brought this to management who gave me a new handset claiming this would fix the issue. I told them the issue is the wiring. Whatever I did their job for them and tried a new handset. Surprising no one the new handset didn’t work either. I have a tablet but not a phone and medical issues. If I have a medical emergency I cannot call 911 from this room (or the room that stank like hot wet cigarettes next door they offered) if I have a medical emergency. The phone next door also had no dial tone on both outlets so clearly the telephone system in this hotel is malfunctioning. That is very worrisome if guests have an emergency. I feel like this is a big issue that this hotel should resolve before someone can’t call 911 when they have an emergency.
Area noisy no place to walk. Breakfast needed protein.
This hotel was very disappointing. Very unclean, no housekeeping, minimal breakfast choices, dirty eating area, poor customer service, nothing works in fitness center.
We had to ask for clean towels on day three of our six-night stay, on day four when we asked for clean linens, they said there weren't any clean.
Dog food was spilled all over the hall when we checked in and someone finally vacuumed it up on day four.
We requested housekeeping on day four and someone came in and picked up the dirty towels and left clean ones, THAT'S IT!
All linens were poor quality and dingy. I had heard that hotels use white linens so they can disinfect them but clearly none of those white linens had seen bleach.
Floors in unit were laminate, but I am pretty sure they haven't been mopped in a long time. Floors felt sticky to walk on with bare feet and my socks were filthy after walking around.
Bathroom ceiling fan sounded like a jet taking off every time you turned on the light and there was no option to not turn on fan.
The positives were, it was relatively quiet and there was plenty of hot water.
