The staff were very kind and gave us an upgrade when we arrived tired after a long day of touring. The food was very good at the buffet
What a great hotel! Beautiful inside. Lovely staff. Comfortable rooms! An awesome (and underutilized!) rooftop terrace / restaurant / bar area. Loved it!
Beautiful hotel, amazing neighborhood. Highly recommended.
Wonderful hotel in downtown Rome with easy access to many historical sites. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We particularly enjoyed the breakfast buffet included in your room price. If we go to Rome again, we will definitely stay at Savoy again.
My one disappointment was the staffs inability to assist me with options during the scheduled rail strike. I was made aware that this is a way of life in Rome. However, just to put your hands up and say " can't help you because I am in a union too" There should. be something in place to address this issue for guest. It really made me fell like my comfort "really" was not that important. So why pay a higher rate for average assistance.
👍
Loved this
Very nice hotel. Bathroom was very clean. Bedroom was small but sufficient. The location was good. The staff was friendly and helpful
Great experience since the moment we arrived, good customer service fast and reliable. Had the breakfast on site, it had everything and more. At night went to the rooftop to enjoy the view. Had a glass of wine and enjoyed the view. Will come back!!
It wasn’t too far from the main attractions . All the staff were friendly and helpful
The beds were very comfortable as were the pillows so no problem sleeping . The room was tidied daily , the extras as in shower gel , dental brush ,etc were good for when we ran out . Breakfast was great a good choice of food. It was a quiet hotel . There were a few places nearby to eat so didn’t need to go back to the centre . And the roof top bar was great , could see right over the city and a great place to watch the sunset with a glass of vino
Beautiful hotel. Great location. Friendly staff.
The Hotel Savoy’s location and Rooftop Restaurant/Bar was perfect for our Roma trip. The service was impeccable. The breakfast was delicious and the staff was very friendly. The beds are very firm, and the carpets need to be updated in the rooms but we still loved our stay here.
Good hotel and friendly staff
The staff a friendly, professional and ready to help.
The hotel and our room was clean and very spacious. The 2 issues we had with our room was the bed and the shower. The bed is somewhat soft but doesn't provide a lot of support, we would still prefer it over some of the stiffer beds we've slept on in Italy. The shower, while long, is not very wide, which made the bathing process a bit difficult and uncomfortable at times. But there were plenty of toiletries made available, better than most other hotels we've stayed at in Italy.
The restaurant was just OK. The food was a 6/10. Given the amount we paid, and the flavor/quality, it was definitely not worth it. It was the equivalent of what an average college student would make in their apartment. We would not recommend eating at the restaurant, but save that money and spend it at an actual restaurant.
On the pricey side but the accommodations were in line with the cost. Recommend you include the breakfast.
Very outdated and overpriced. Needs new everything… Elevators are old and slow. Good location
Staff was friendly. My only issue is they need more english TV stations.
Italy hotels have character. Maintain traditional decor.
It’s a beautiful old hotel but it needs to be updated are bathroom reminded me of the Art Deco period we are 74 years old and had to climb in and out of the tub should be a walk in shower.
