Fawlty Towers on the Huangpu. Awful, uncomfortable rooms.

The room they swapped us into at least had a door on the bathroom.

Cons:

Transparent door on the bathroom, bathtub in the middle of the room. They charged me extra to move me to a room with a solid bathroom door.

NO AIR CONDITIONING, the temperature in the room was 26C (about 80+ F). When I tried to leave a window open the staff recalcitrantly closed it every time.

A room booked for three adults was provided with ONE BED. They did offer a free extra bed but it was too short for an adult and did not include a mattress, it was hard as a rock. They admitted that they don't actually have any rooms for three adults. Then why do they make them available to bookers??

The pillows were likewise like bricks.

The toilet beeped loudly in the middle of the night.

The staff were entirely unhelpful and frankly seemed a bit brain-dead.

I lived in Shanghai for three years so I knew not to expect much for my money. Congratulations Radisson for not even meeting my low expectations. We barely got any sleep over three nights and could not wait to leave.

Serene setting with a beautiful garden in the middle of the city, surrounded by tree-lined cute and historic streets that are city walk destinations. Nice restaurants within walking distance

Pros:

Super Lage, schöner Blick, gute Ausstattung, gemütliches Bett, guter Pool, guter Frühstück, sehr netter Service - alles super! Ich komme immer in Shanghai hier unter.

Pros:

Stayed with 3 of my colleagues this time for 3 mights each all of us = 12 nights.
I stayed with you in late July 2025.
Only thing that really needs attention is the coffee at breakfast - both the Melitta & the old FAema need upgrading - suggest you check with Hiangkie Coffee Corp locally who offer the the excellent Eversys Cameo for Brek Self Serve - very reliable & very consistent good coffee. Try their Yellow Brew Lab Pack as I tasted at the Hotelex show.

Pros:

Отель красивый, с прекрасным расположением среди вилл во французской концессии. Очень приятно из него начинать прогулку по городу. До Бунд 15-20 минут на такси.
Неплохой бассейн, хамам и сауна в мужской и женской раздевалке, джакузи. В спа чисто.
Весь персонал очень вежливый. Приятная мелочь -напитки и суп в подарок (как раз приехали очень уставшие и голодные и сразу принесли в номер). В остальные дни надо было просить. Персонал сам про это не рассказывал, увидели на бумажке, которую выдают.
Вид на парк очень красивый
Завтрак хороший

Cons:

Местами мебель и стены потрепаны, но не критично.
Удивило, что в одном номере у нас была косметика Молтон Браун, а в другом обычная Рэдиссон. Рэдиссон тоже неплохая, но больше люблю Молтон.

Business Room was spacious, clean & well furnished. Hotel is well appointed as well.
Pros:

Breakfast was buffet with large offerings.
Only Complaint : Rooms was very hot eventhough I turned down the temperature to 18.5C when outside temperature was 12-18C . Also there is no Spa - no massage or beauty treatments available at all.

Cons:

Engineering should be able to allow individual rooms to adjust temperature . Many in our group had same complaint. Outside temperature was cold but we were sweating in our rooms.

Will definitely consider coming back to this hotel next time.
Pros:

A very nice hotel with a big compound and other 1-2 storey buildings probably meant for other events. Felt like i was living in a time when it was old Shanghai and this was one of the posh property within the French Concession Area.

Cons:

A bit further away from the Metro stations, closest would take 15mins walk. Fortunately I could use the public bicycles that saved a lot of time and energy, cutting the time to just 6 mins ride to the metro station.

Exceptional value for money hotel in beautiful grounds. Amazing buffet breakfast that changes daily.
Pros:

Breakfast was amazing. We stayed for six days and each day the breakfast offerings were different. And the choice at the buffet was as large as it was tasty.
The hotel grounds are beautiful with historic villas from the early 20th century. An oasis of green gardens and flowering magnolia trees in the middle of a bustling big city. Set in the charming quarter of the French concession, there are many bars, cafes, restaurants, shops all within walking distance.

Cons:

The staff were pleasant although the command of English could’ve been better.
The room was comfortable although the decor felt dated and somewhat florid with shiny metallic lampshades and lights that wouldn’t look out of place in a KTV / karaoke lounge. I shared the room with a friend and the bathroom didn’t afford much privacy with the sliding glass panels enclosing the toilet and bathtub. Would have been better if the glass panels were completely opaque. Also there were no hooks in the bathroom to hang the bathrobe and towels. We had to drape them over the bath tub.
