Harbor View Hotel

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Harbor View Hotel with my clients, and I was genuinely blown away by the level of service and care we experienced throughout our stay.

Prior to arrival, the concierge team sent a beautifully curated roundup of restaurant recommendations and seasonal activities, which was incredibly helpful during the winter months when navigating what was open on the island. That thoughtful preparation immediately set the tone for what became an exceptional experience.

The property itself is absolutely picturesque, and our waterview room overlooking the lighthouse was breathtaking. The rooms are elegant and comfortable, with lovely details like Le Labo Hinoki bath amenities that added to the sense of luxury and relaxation.

What truly stood out, however, was the staff. The front desk team and managers were gracious, attentive, and consistently went above and beyond. They assisted with dining reservations, and at one point even arranged to pick up my dinner off-site and personally deliver it to my room, wonderful a gesture that perfectly reflects their commitment to guest care.

During an approaching winter storm, the team also provided extraordinary support coordinating our departure from the island. They walked us through ferry schedules step by step and ensured we had a smooth and stress-free journey home. That level of attentiveness made a meaningful difference.

The food was delicious, the wine list exceptional, and the overall atmosphere felt both luxurious and welcoming.

Thank you to the entire Harbor View team for such a magical winter getaway. We will absolutely be back, and I highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Martha’s Vineyard in any season!

My wife and I went away to Martha’s Vineyard for a long weekend and stayed at the Harbor View Hotel. We had the nicest time shopping, hiking and the Harbor View was wonderful.

Nice property, good location, walkable to town. Prior to arriving we are advised of the limited food options and hours. However, we asked for ice and extra coffee creamer, and because the kitchen was locked, they were not available.
Rooms are very nice, good wifi, lots of charging options. Very nice linens, robes and notions.

There is so much to take in about this beautiful resort. It is the PERFECT WINTER GET AWAY! Warm shout out to front desk, and Bettini staff. Khalid and the chef made our dinners exceptional. Hannah in guest reception is always a delight and looks after our comfort. And then a light snow fell and we fell into an absolute New England fairy tail in beautiful Harbor View Hotel.

From the front desk welcome to the excellent bar staff to the wonderful dinner servers, the staff was friendly, welcoming, courteous and professional. We thoughorly enjoyed our time at the Harbor View, especially considering it was a busy holiday. Service was seamless despite the extraordinarily busy atmosphere.
We will definitely be planning our return visit.

The breakfasts were delicious, staff extremely helpful, and location is ideal. We had dinner at the hotel a couple times and the food was delicious and the service first rate. Will come back again.

Sat at the bar at Bettini with friends. Ian was so kind and attentive and provided such amazing service to all of us. He has a contagious smile! Taylor was wonderful and a great bartender. The food was exceptional. Halibut was plated so beautifully I almost didn’t want to eat it…but I’m so glad I did. Perfectly cooked and nicely complimented with carrots. The olive oil cake with a side of ice cream for dessert was the perfect ending to an incredible meal. The ambiance was cozy and made a cold rainy Saturday much warmer! Can’t wait to go back!

Stunning hotel

Lovely hotel with a view of the lighthouse and attractive art. Rooms have small frigs, nespresso coffee makers and are well maintained. Staff is wonderful especially in the dining room at dinner.

Beautiful location overlooking the Edgartown lighthouse. Rooms were cozy, comfortable, clean elegantly decorated. The staff of the hotel went out of their way to accommodate every need. We took advantage of the bikes that are available and rode all around the island. Our dinner in the restaurant was also excellent.

This is a stunning property. The views are incredible. The staff is wonderful. The rooms are beautiful and clean and well set up.

On the island for a wedding where the preferred location is the Harborview. Great location! Great staff. Bettini restaurant and Behind the View were great! Negatives: Walls are paper thin. We could hear guests stomping around above us and coughing next door. Fitness center is also subpar for a 4.5 to 5 star hotel. Glad we were paying an off season rate.

Our experience at this hotel was fantastic! From the receptionist going out of their way to make us feel welcome and special to Rosemary, the concierge, extending so much knowledge about the island and providing us with fabulous ideas and plans to the staff and food at Bettini's....all exceptional! Our room was very comfortable, clean and offered beautiful views!

Beautiful clean well stocked room. Bed is very comfortable with soft sheets. Our view was stunning. A/C great! Staff super friendly and offered to assist any time I asked a question. Bar tender, Taylor made me the best hot chocolate. Easy walking to Edgarton’s Main Street. Fun walking out to the beach and lighthouse which was directly in front of the hotel. We borrowed bikes and rode to South Beach & Jaws Bridge.. easy rides and Billy helped with directions. The staff was shuttling older guests to and from the shop/restaurants in a golf cart. The porch and lobby had plenty of hang out options to play cards or stare at the view.

This is an absolutely gorgeous hotel with beautiful grounds. Every member of the staff was helpful, polite and professional. We decided to indulge ourselves for a special anniversary, and it was so worth it.
