Pros:

1) The internet speed was good.
2) The room was reasonably clean.
3) The bed and the furniture were comfortable.
4) The room was too cold, and I had to turn off the AC during my stay. I think this is a great option since the hotel is in Texas.

Cons:

1) The first day's breakfast wasn't very good. But after that, it was good. For some reason, I had some digestive difficulty the whole time. I don't know what the issue was. It may not be the breakfast.
2) The room was good. But, I had a room in one of those double rooms that had an entrance from another room. I was concerned that the door might get opened. The lock system didn't seem so secure. Plus, I could hear the noise and voices from the other room.
3) At check-in, they asked me for an extra $25 in case I eat any of the hotel snacks. For the sake of transparency, they should mention it in the booking terms, not at the time of check-in.

Well below expectations
Cons:

There was only 1 ice machine that worked on any of the floors. Only 1 elevator worked of the 2 elevators and it was terribly slow. All guests had to wait to get up or down from the floors

We stayed at this same hotel in May and it was so much better. I feel that it has changed ownership.

One elevator was working the whole time . My daughter’s hall smelled like weed. Buffet had no meat. Pillows on bed were terrible but the bed was comfortable. Bathtub has rust.

It was about average.
Pros:

The location was good, people/staff were nice for the most part. Cookies were good but may have been a little overcooked.

Cons:

Ice machine was broken on my floor. The ice machine they referred me to was not in good condition. They tried to charge me for a pet I didn’t have.

Breakfast was decent.

Cons:

Room was very dirty, sofa bed was very uncomfortable, and dirty bed sheets, the AC unit was very loud and durty we couldn't sleep well, there was a big mold spot in the ceiling, Also only one elevator was working and it was very slow.

Our overall stay was ok other then check and no rooms clean

The one thing that did bother me is that the walk-in shower flooded over.
