Very unpleasant atmosphere. On March 12, it was fine. On March 14, it was just the opposite.

We stayed at your hotel on Thursday, March 12, 2026 and liked it so much that we came back on March 14, 2026.
DID NOT LIKE stay on March 14. Our room wasn't ready at 3 pm and were told that it probably wouldn't be ready until at least 3:45 and that they would call when ready. They didn't call and we went back close to 3:45 and room was ready. No apology given. Front desk person was not pleasant and the coffee area was unkept. On Sunday morning there was no juice cups, food was all over the counter tops and waste bins were overflowing. Didn't eat there. Not nice. Waited over 5 minutes for an elevator that didn't come. Took stairs. Someone said later that the cleaning crew hold the elevators up for their convenience. Shouldn't the cleaning crew have an elevator dedicated to their service? Guess not.

Pros:

Your location was great. It was easy in and out. Receptionist was very pleasant and accommodating. Breakfast was okay.

Cons:

It certainly is a little dark in the eating breakfast area. It made the area seem on the dungy side. Not many television stations available.

The room and grounds were clean.

Cons:

We book where we can have breakfast. The oatmeal was not done according to the lady in charge. The toaster did not work, the coffee waa like chickory. Our had no tub stopper and there was no lotion.

Good stay and will come again but will try to get a bigger bed.
Pros:

Good location for what we needed. Clean and included breakfast that was very good.

Cons:

Needs some updates. Could have used a bigger bed. We are older and we both need to reposition through the night and just didn’t have the room for that.

Not Up To Hampton Inn Standards
Pros:

I always stay at Hampton Inn’s due to their consistently very good accommodations. However, this hotel needs to be torn down and start all over. Rooms are small. Two Queen sized bed rooms have very little space, no room for a casual chair. Banged my foot on metal bar sticking out from bed frame. Heater/air conditioner did not work properly, it shot out hot air no matter what the setting. Tried every setting possible. Got so hot we had to shut it off for hours to cool down the room from ungodly heat. This was fun at night, waking up sweating, turning off heater, only to wake up several hours later cold. Bathroom has very little countertop space and no ventilation. Only one hook in bathroom to hang anything, good luck getting dressed in a steamy bathroom. Adjoining room door was falling apart (see pic). Breakfast waffle station had no spigot for dispensing batter at 7 a.m. No pool, but we knew that going in. This Hampton Inn is at least 30+ years old and looks it. Only upside is location, close to Crocker Park and restaurants. We kept thinking this place would be on par with Super 8, or Motel 6. Think twice about staying here.
