Promote that hard-working evening desk clerk to assistant and give him a good salary to keep him!
Pros:

evening desk clerk was helpful, polite and accommodating. As some of the other reviews mention, there are some needed updates, but for the price... it was clean enough. As a former hotel GM, I recognized that there are some long-term guests who are staying there for work. This can feel a little uncomfortable for the traveler thinking that people "live" at the property. I knew what to expect when I saw the work trucks in the parking lot and I was unbothered and so should you be. Crews traveling for work need an affordable place to stay while they are away from home so, yes, just some hard-working folks making themselves as comfortable as possible while away from their home.
We would stay again if we were in the area. Simple, clean, convenient, friendly staff, breakfast, pool, coffee, and a decent bed... all I needed!

Cons:

plenty could be better, but nothing was "bad".

The property should be updated to reflect the outstanding staff working it.
Pros:

The staff behind the desk at check in and check out were outstanding. So helpful and considerate and nice. Not just with us but with ALL guests.

Cons:

The property is very old and dated. Renovation markings and holes in wall, ripped wallpaper, old.

It’s unfortunate its so run down with a pest issue. The property has so much potential ifctaken care of

Up on hill looking down on city

Cons:

We found bed bugs in our bed, pillows had no pillowcases and stained yellow, tv didnt. Work properly. The outside walkways upstairs are poor condition and floor creaks and you can hear wood breaking as you walk and we are not heavy built

The front desk was very helpful. They allow pets.

Cons:

This place needs major repairs.. Tub didn't drain properly, baseboards rotting, tiles cracked, carpet needs cleaned...

Pros:

Nice and clean. They always have a good breakfast.

Cons:

The only thing I didn't like was the stool in the handicap shower and it doesn't have a shower head that you can take down. Also our room didn't have night stands by the.bed.
