Sauberkeit lässt zu wünschen übrig, aber gute Lage
Pros:

Positiv hervorzuheben ist immerhin die gute Lage als Ausgangspunkt für die Fußgängerzone von Whistler.
Da wir einiges zu bemängeln hatten, hat sich das Hotelpersonal entschuldigt und sie würden den Mängeln nachgehen.

Cons:

Das Hotel ist deutlich in die Jahre gekommen und wirkt insgesamt sehr veraltet. Klimaanlage und Küche sind alt, und an vielen Stellen sind die Fliesen beschädigt.
Auch die Sauberkeit ließ leider stark zu wünschen übrig: Geschirr und Töpfe waren nicht richtig sauber, der Nachttisch war nicht abgewischt – man konnte noch die Tassenränder der Vorgänger sehen. Am gravierendsten war jedoch der Zustand des Bettes: Es war teilweise mit Klebeband repariert, die Bettdecke deutlich fleckig und es befanden sich Haare auf der Matratze.
Der Kamin spendet zwar Wärme, lässt sich allerdings nicht ausschalten. Das Hotel ist zudem extrem hellhörig – lärmende Nachbarn haben uns nachts geweckt, und auch der Kühlschrank war sehr laut. In der Nacht regnete es, und der Dachablauf ergoss sich auf ein Blech auf unserem Balkon, was für zusätzlichen, extremen Lärm sorgte.
Parken ist zudem kostenpflichtig und findet in einem sehr engen Parkhaus statt.
Zum Glück war dies für uns nur eine Nacht als Zwischenstopp – wir dieses Hotel leider nicht empfehlen.

Pros:

Grosse Zimmer, bequeme Betten, super gut funktionierende neue Dusche, grosse Badewanne mit Massagedüsen im Zimmer und eine kleine Küchenzeile mit großem Kühlschrank.
Lage top, alles fußläufig erreichbar.
Parkgarage vorhanden, kostet extra 29 CAD pro Nacht, ist aber ok, da es im Ort keine Parkmöglichkeiten gibt und die Parkplätze am Rand der Stadt auch schon 20CAD kosten.
Freundliches hilfsbereites Petsonal, gute Beratung auch im Hinblick auf Ausflüge.

AC was noisy and not properly dajustable temperaturewise

Windows cannot be opened at all

Not properly cleaned

Bathroom/toilet is so small that in order to open the door to get in/out you have to step into the shower
