This property was in a great location and very easy to walk into town but at the same time felt quiet. We loved the pool and the views. The lunch we had was amazing! We would 100% recommend and return ourselves!
This property was great and there is not anything major we would change. The breakfast options could have been better but other than that we would not change anything!
Loved the communal areas - the pool, the restaurant with stunning Atlantic views.
I felt the rooms were quite basic and small for the price, I didn’t feel it was 5 star level in the rooms.
Fab hotel for a for a few night stay for the Harley Davidson European rally. Check-in was seamless, staff really friendly, short walk into town for dinner etc. Rooms well provided and clean, facilities superb. No complaints at all. Fab restaurant on site with views out to sea. Superb!
A bit pricey compared to others, but very nice (lovely) hotel. We would happily stay again. Prices were inflated we think because of the Harley event compared to other times of year, but would still rebook again
Nice hotel, comfortable, great location.
This is a nice hotel, and comfortable, however the over inflated price of 500 plus per night demands much more, no garage, no doorman, no offer to carry bags to the room, the price tag demands these services and more. Other than that

The Farol is perfectly positioned about 10 minutes walk from Cascais Town, with a beautiful park on one side and the majestic Atlantic on the other. My room was in the basement, with a terrace facing onto the sea and a little inlet - lulled to sleep every night by the sound of the waves. The food was really good and the staff and service were great too. It would've been a five star review but for the poor sound insulation - I could hear conversations from the room next door and late every night there was an unmerciful racket caused by furniture being moved in the dining room above. I'll definitely be revisiting Cascais and the Farol - highly recommended.

Excellent location, stunning views
I had been worried about booking this hotel based on some prior reviews-but it was fantastic! They have slowly been updating and doing some touch up which looks beautiful & hopefully will be continued! Yes the hotel is quirky-but in a good way! Staff was so helpful-especially Nuno! Locale was so close to the historic central but far enough removed to be quiet too! Last, do not skip the restaurant for dinner-we ate there twice since the 1st night was so exquisite! Had Japanese food/sushi, then more traditional the 2nd night and both were incredibly well prepared and some of the best food I ate in Portugal! Diana & her male colleague were attentive servers who knew the menu intimately & could easily make suggestions on both food/wine! Would definitely stay again. Hotel was totally on par with the 3 other 5 star Boutique hotels we stayed at while in Portugal….

It's not that I didn't like it. It's just a suggestion. The room I was in closest to the sea, needs a privacy screen on the outside stretchers. There is a public area right next to it. Fortunately it wasn't high season and there wasn't many people around.
Also maybe EV charging and car washing services could be good services to add.

De ligging is fantastisch op een rots .Zeer rustig gelegen.
