Title: Repeat guest — extremely disappointed by how this was handled

I have stayed at The Lexi multiple times over the years and had always liked the property, which makes this experience particularly disappointing.

I paid $475.06 for one night, specifically choosing the room in significant part because of the specialty shower that I had used successfully during previous stays. During this stay, the shower had extremely poor water pressure and only some of the jets/rows appeared to be working. I have video documenting how the shower was functioning while I was there.

When I was leaving around 11 PM, there was no employee available at the front desk to check me out, which I also documented on video. I ultimately spoke with security and was told there was a “trick” to operating the shower and that other guests had complained about it. If a specialty shower requires a particular method to operate correctly, that information should be provided to guests before they experience a problem—not while they are already leaving.

Management contacted me after my departure and sent me a video showing the shower working normally at that later time, asking whether it had looked like that the night before. I immediately explained that it had not. After that conversation, management wrote to me, “I’ll make an adjustment to the bill.” I was subsequently told by phone that I would receive a refund.

What has been most disappointing is what happened afterward. My follow-up emails and texts went unanswered, and I had to call the hotel multiple times just to speak with management. Only after I escalated the matter to Wyndham Customer Care did I receive a formal written response stating that the shower had been tested after my departure, was functioning properly at that time, and that a refund would not be issued.

I do not dispute that the shower may have worked when it was tested later.

Widzę po wcześniejszym komentarzu że to nie pierwszy raz . Radzę uważać z płatnością bo ja mówię w recepcji że mam opłacone a on że nie później niby klika i się znalazło. Pobrano opłatę 34 dolary gdzie nigdzie nie pisze ze usluga serwisowa jest niby za basen internet i siłownię z czego nie korzystałem .

Nice rooms and good location, but the beds were extremely uncomfortable.
Pros:

The amenities like the pool and gym looked good but we didn't use them. The rooms were clean with good room service.

Cons:

The bed was really bad. The mattress was a step up from sleeping on the floor in terms of comfort and the sheets/pillowcase were basically plastic which caused us to sweat from any point that was touching them. The bed is the most important part of a hotel room which really drags it down even though everything else was fine.
