A great place to stay
Pros:

Breakfast was great with many options for everyone; family was happy with the room and location, we walked to almost everywhere and the staff and feel of the hotel - spacious and green - was really great. Overall great time for everyone, I recommend this hotel, a hidden gem in Sorsogon.

Pros:

I liked nothing. The building is in a very bad shape. From outside and in my room. It even leaked red rain through the ceiling at night. The bathroom has a water leak behind the toilet and stretched 1yard around the bowl. Tiles very old and bad condition. Internet very poor mostly not working esp. wifi. used my own.

Cons:

Again. Nothing. The pool was not usable.

Needs modern upgrades
Pros:

The price is the most positive and location to the center of town. It’s ok not a modern hotel and the prices reflect that. Maybe staying on the wing in the back of the hotel is quieter and safer. The cafe has good food and is convenient and fairly priced.

Cons:

Asked for quiet room but was given a room facing the cafe which is the noisy side of this hotel. You’re awakened around 6 am every morning to the sounds of coffee being ground, smoothie blenders and dishes clanking with crowd noise too. The pool deck is filled with leaves and leaves in the pool. Needs to be netted and deck cleaned daily perhaps twice daily because it is an outdoor pool. Tiles on this older pool make walking in the pool very slippery beware you might fall. The room was outdated and needed a modern upgrade even the AC was an older box unit. The nicer quieter side of the hotel had split AC and fans on the balcony. That wing of the hotel was built after the original main building and it’s obviously better. Hotel has the old style key attached to the fab that controls the electricity in the room so if you leave your room the power including AC goes off. TV was very small I think the smallest sized Tv available. Guests and staff in the cafe can watch you leave your room too as well as observe how many people are staying in the room. They know when you’re coming and going which is creepy because they could target you or your room for a theft.

I work hard so I value my holidays a lot and Fernando's definitely made a big impact to make it best
Pros:

When I first booked we have had the bigger room however when I re booked for the next 3 nights I did not realised I booked a budget room so obviously there is much difference on the size of the bedroom and facilities but then it never stopped us having a fab stay, the staff were dead friendly, the location is perfect for our morning run to the Pier and knowing that we will be back for a very nice pool and breakfast so it made us run further! The food at Cecilia's was exceptional! Overall our stay was excellent and I highly recommend the place and as long as you know what you paid for then there will be no moaning!

Cons:

I did not like that I have to use my own Netflix log in, I would say would have been better if the Netflix was free :-) it is a nice add on for when you just wanted to stay in and having a quiet day :-)

The go to place in Sorsogon
Pros:

This hotel is a heritage hotel, but it is very well maintained...the room is spacious, the bed comfortable, the toilet a bit small. the breakfast options are quite limited, but the food is very good
