I love this hotel so much I've booked lots of times before I fly out..spa is great..rooms bit dated but very clean..The bar staff are very rude on every visit...but the rest of the hotel staff are amazing.. friendly and really do bend over backwards for there guests..

Well located hotel. Helpful staff.
Bright green safety light kept me awake all night. I understand the fire exit/only door to the room needs to be visible, but that was ridiculous.

Big parking space, easy access,
The character of the building has been maintained including some lovely touches like the phone booths and shoe polisher. Staff were helpful and friendly. Had to ask for pillows and milk but they were quickly supplied.
The television didn’t work and while staff tried to find a remote control, they still couldn’t fix it.
The lift was out of order and the restaurant is on the first floor. As some with poor mobility this was a real issue. We were booked to eat there but we were refused our request for food to be served downstairs

The Leisure centre at the Hotel is good way to end the day although it closes a bit early.
No Aircon and the outside area could be cleaner and neater.

No food available (I arrived 9.30pm and then in the morning went for breakfast at 9.05 as I read on a website that brekfast was until 9.30 but it was 9 so o didn’t have anything to eat during my stay)

A toilet roll was half used
