Cons:

Staff didn’t know about my booking on booking.com- send their computers didn’t register these bookings- so spent an hour wrangling with staff after 3 hour drive before they gave us a room!
More wrangling in the morning- paid for breakfast on the booking but they had no record!- eventually found the proof of payment- didn’t accept my email from you!!

Hannah on reception went above and beyond to make me a little more comfortable by lending me her own personal fan until the morning....up until that point I had 2 choices...to just go home or sleep in my car. The room was like a green house..intact the whole place was unbearably hot

Cons:

The tv aereal was wobbly in the socket.....not enough plug sockets. No USB ports either. TV was small and a very very poor selection of channels. The bed was uncomfortable. The bathroom was clean ish. The whole room was dark and very much very much dated. I've stayed twice now....and I won't be staying again. The breakfast was shocking too....

room was poky small no fan or ac. window only one did not open enough to let air in ground floor. small desk no good for a laptop very disappointing all round. front desk not helpful at all. will not be staying there again.

Location was perfect

Cons:

I stayed in this hotel almost 20 years ago and its exactly the same as then very old never been updated mouldy smell in corridors rooms old fashioned , wifi not very good tv channells so so old , no plug sockets Beside the beds , basic little towels in rooms , one pillow each. hotel badly needs updating.
Bar staff extremely unfriendly , reception staff were very friendly.

Our stay was overnight ready for a flight back to Australia. I would not recommend for lengthy stay

Cons:

Jug had to be replaced as the original sent the power out.
Door to room was difficult to open and close - extremely heavy.
Cupboards paintwork hadn't been finished.
