Welcome to a life of juxtaposition
Pros:

It was like stepping into the Mediterranean and being served by someone from Slough.

Cons:

Being told off when I asked a question because 'she was doing a million and one things' as she opened a singular beer bottle

The hotel was once amazing but is now tired and needs a refresh. The staff were lovely.
Pros:

Breakfast was better than dinner and they allowed us to check in early. The staff were all friendly and the hotel was clean.

Cons:

The dinner in the bar was terrible dry and flavourless. The beds were awful, the springs had gone. The walls were thin we heard our neighbours fighting.

Pros:

The check in lady was lovely. Hotel was clean.

Cons:

More plug sockets needed. I have to use a CPAP machine and the extension lead was dangerously trailing across the other side of the room as there were no sockets near the bed. The mattress was hard and very uncomfortable. Pillow was also uncomfortable, so ee had a terrible sleep. We arrived for breakfast which we'd paid extra for to be told they pack everything away at 8.45. Right next to the dining room it even said breakfast was until 9am . We were offered a croissant but no drink available for £10 each! We were able to get a refund, however as my husband is diabetic, he has to eat within 15 minutes of having his insulin. So we had to try and find the nearest place so he could eat quickly & not knowing the area, this wasn't easy. Far from ideal & breakfast ending at 8.45 should be communicated & the signs changed.

A wait to check-in
Cons:

When i arrived, the 2 members of staff on the reception were talking and I was left waiting for getting on for 10 minutes before being acknowledged. A gentleman was also waiting during this time.

I have stayed at the hotel previously and haven't to wait that long to check-in, even when there wasn't a queue.

Incredibly basic, however the reception and night staff were amazing.
Pros:

Unfortunately very little about the property. However the staff were fantastic.

Cons:

The room was very basic and the mattresses were very uncomfortable with springs to be felt through them. The pillows felt like solid foam wedges. The bathroom was ok however there was no hot water in the shower.
