Pros:

Good location but very little else impressed

Cons:

Did not clean room as we only stayed 4 days , we had to stay extra day or pay extra charge of $65 per day to have room cleaned , no restaurant or even breakfast

Pool was lovely, room was nice and clean.

Cons:

Little bit further out of town than the other resorts, there is a good bus service but beyond walking distance. We asked for fresh towels on our third day and payment was requested which I found very disappointing, apparently they're only changed if staying for more than 5 nights.

Perfect stay!
Pros:

We had a wonderful stay at Paradise Links Port Douglas. The property is surrounded by greenery, very well maintained, and incredibly peaceful—perfect for relaxing.
The apartments are spacious, clean, and well equipped, making them ideal even for longer stays. The pool area is beautiful as well as the common areas.
The location is convenient for reaching both the town centre of Port Douglas and the main attractions nearby.
We would definitely recommend this place and would happily stay here again!

Cons:

The only minor downside was that the pots and pans could be replaced, as they were a bit scratched and worn.

The maintenance man was lovely and apologetic about the various discrepancies.
Pros:

The pool was lovely.

Unfortunately we didn’t have hot water for 24hrs on arriving, and the shower was filthy and needed to be cleaned.

10 minute drive to centre of Port Douglas. Lovely pool. Tired room could have been cleaner

Lovely pool. Nicely landscaped. Warm welcome from reception. Comfortable beds and lovely pillows.

Cons:

Our room was very small - much smaller than expected.
There was no service during our stay.
The light in the communal hall didn’t work.
The room was tired and in need of renovation. The carpet was dirty, especially near the fridge where it was very dirty.
Overall the room was tired and in need of sprucing up.

Older resort room for backpacker price
Pros:

Chose room in golf resort over similar private room at YH-type for same price!!
A mistake
No plug for big bath
Bed sagged
Ash tray in room in a place with prohibitive and punitive notices about any smoking at all on the vast resort property.
Clean though, with nice coffee machine.
Still, a vast resort with pools, gardens and so on in a quiet corner of PD.
Would have preferred the more central YH-type, as it would be more relaxed about rules if noisier.

Room seemed like a more luxurious one from the old Skase days (he started PD as resort town 30-40 years ago), so looked worn.
Bed could have had a new mattress years ago.

Cons:

Our stay was for three nights. We booked a standard king room, but unfortunately the overall condition was very poor. The room was unclean, with visible grime on the doors, significant stains on the carpet, extensive build-up on the fan blades, and a stained headboard. There was also a strong mildew smell throughout, making the stay quite unpleasant.

The bathroom had no exhaust fan or windows for ventilation, which only added to the damp, musty atmosphere.

A great stay on the outskirts of Port Douglas
Pros:

Great facilities, lovely clean room with everything we needed, lady on reception was very helpful. Had bikes available for hire which we used to get into Port Douglas.

Cons:

Nothing bad about accommodation. A little bit out of Port Douglas, which we actually preferred, but it wasn't an issue for us as we made use of the bikes for hire.

Pros:

A beautiful, clean apartment with a veeeeery comfy big bed. We loved the kitchenette with the dishwasher as well as the washing machine and dryer. There was even washing powder and dishwasher fluid foreseen. We were able to do our laundry before heading home, which was great.

The bath was great, it was the first time during my whole trip I was able to have a hot bath which I enjoyed immensely.

The pool area is very scenic with a great pool to relax at. When there's no loud kids playing and jumping in the pool (which is not allowed) it's super relaxing.

Good location for starting into Daintree
Pros:

Even though many people it is nice and quite. Large appartement was super.

Cons:

Smell in kitchen drawers and cupboards stopped us from using anything.
