Pros:

Отличный отель. Очень внимательный гостеприимный персонал. Менеджер был очень приветлив, всегда рад помочь. Удобные кровати и подушки. Приятная ванная, уборка хорошая. Местоположение идеальное.

Great location and great staff.
Pros:

The location was great as we wanted to be close to the most attractions. The staff was very friendly and helpful before and during our stay and there were always someone to assist at reception.

Cons:

The air-con did not work properly so the room was hot. We could not get the room with the view we booked as the 5th floor was not available but there were people staying on the 4th and 5th and the shower head did not work properly. I am sure they would have fixed it had we informed them but as we were only there for 2 nights and mostly out we did not.

Nice little hotel tucked away in busy, buzzy commercial area of old town
Pros:

I was given an upgrade because the info provided on booking.com was incorrect - it said that the budget single I booked had city views when in fact it had no window at all. The man at reception agreed that this was an issue he needed to resolve with booking.com to prevent a recurring problem and was able, for my own 2-night stay, to offer me an alternative room. I very much liked the vibrant local area the hotel was situated in, close to cafes, shops, hammams, within easy reach of the waterfront or to walk to many of the main sights of the old town (for anyone who likes wandering on foot.) not far from tram line T1 so quite reachable by public transport from airport (metro and tram) if you're of a mind to do that (as I did) - it's mostly downhill from T1 tram station Beyazit to the hotel!

Cons:

Well, my initial acquaintance with the room booked was a disappointment, but quickly resolved. Nothing else.

Firstly i would like to thanks ismail the guy working in desk hotel reception who was very kind and helpfull . Also other workers were helpfull and polite. Hotel was in good spot nears everything you need. Also nice Breakfast in the morning

We spent amazing 3 days in Istambul and Grand Kavi Hotel added positive emotions to our trip. Thank you very much!!!
Pros:

Everything was great! Nice and polite administrator, comfortable room, clean bathroom, nice view (Catholic Church in front of window). In the early morning once we could hear the sound of call to morning prayer, it was very atmospheric. The breakfast was great, maybe not so various, but enough to be full till lunch or even dinner. It contains everything you need to ordinary breakfast (eggs, different kinds of cheese and sausage, yogurt, saute, vegetables, butter, jam, olives, different types of cereal , milk, juice, coffee, tea, and something else which we didn’t try). My child was fully satisfied with the food for breakfasts.
The distance for the main tourist spots takes about 10-15 minutes on foot. To get to Dolmahbache you need to catch tram T1, tram station is 2 minutes on foot from hotel. Moreover it is situated next to the Food street, which is full with cafes, restaurants, so that you’ll never be hangry, and all nearby streets are bright and full with souvenir’s shops, fruits, which work till 23:00-1:00. We walked till late evening and it was safe.

BED BUGS!!!!!!!!!!!

Nothing, worst stay i’ve ever had.

Cons:

Horrific experience from start to finish.
I arrived and was told my room (a single room which was meant to have a sea view) no longer exists in the hotel and that i would need to be moved 2 doors down to the their other hotel the Grand Bazaar Hotel. There may as well of been no window in the room as the window opened straight up to a wall with no view of outside at all (pictured below) when i asked if i could be moved because of this i was told they had no other single room available.
I then got attacked by BED BUGS on my first night (bites pictured below) and went straight to the reception about this the next morning showing them the visible bites i had woken up with and was then moved to another room that had a nicer view and more space but no working air conditioning hahahaha. This was honestly the worst stay i’ve ever had and i’ve travelled all over the world and leave nothing but positive reviews, this was an absolute nightmare stay and i STRONGLY suggest you do not even consider staying here.

Do not let the location or the price fool you.
