If the breakfast was better, this would be the best hotel in Sydney.
Pros:

Staff- Excellent staff and very accommodating to all needs. It's located in a quiet side of CBD and one can really sleep well here. 5 Stars for privacy.

Cons:

Breakfast - I would definitely stay there again but the breakfast does not compare well to other Langham locations. Very Limited options.

A true five-star experience. Simply exceptional!
Pros:

This was the most comfortable hotel bed I've ever slept in and I travel extensively around the world for work.

The hotel is exceptional, and you can see the attention to detail in every aspect of the guest experience.

The room is not only comfortable but also beautifully designed, spacious, and thoughtfully equipped with everything you could need.

The location is excellent, within easy walking distance of Sydney's main attractions.

The hotel itself is elegant and full of character. It has a lovely bar, perfect for relaxing or waiting before heading out. The breakfast is outstanding, with a wide variety of high-quality, fresh options.

Every member of the staff was professional, courteous, and exceptionally well-trained.

I was genuinely impressed. This hotel truly lives up to its five-star rating, and I would gladly stay here again.

Cons:

The only aspect I would point out, in my opinion, is the hotel's dinner restaurant, James. While the food quality is good, the menu offers very few options and is quite niche. There aren't many classic or simple choices, such as a basic pasta dish. Since we preferred to dine at the hotel, we found ourselves somewhat limited by the menu.

Pros:

The bed was ultra comfortable

Cons:

Everything was dated and underwhelming for the price point. Cracked stone in the bathroom, yellowing basins, leaking showerhead. TV channels didn’t work on the last day.

Overpriced for the size of the room.
Breakfast was an absolute rip off! $60 per person and every single piece of hot food was cold or mildly warm. It was revolting. The croissant was so hard and stale that it wasn’t even worth one bite. Very disappointing for an expensive hotel.

Christmas at The Langham – a new favourite
Pros:

We stayed at The Langham in Sydney over Christmas and it was absolutely wonderful. From the moment we arrived, everything felt bespoke and relaxed – exactly the kind of escape we were hoping for. The rooms were incredibly spacious, with a real sense of calm and elegance that made it easy to unwind as a family. The food was excellent, the service was warm and attentive, and the location couldn't be better – right in the heart of The Rocks, with everything on your doorstep. We've stayed at the Park Hyatt before, and honestly, The Langham was a much better fit for us – more comfortable, more welcoming, and genuinely relaxing. Highly recommended for a special occasion or a family Christmas getaway.

Pros:

The room was great with a lovely terrace. The staff are an all very friendly and helpful, particularly the daytime concierge staff. It is truly a lovely hotel. Room service food was good.

Cons:

Unfortunately the hotel was having some kind of work done so there was a loud machine out the front for the days of our stay. The exhaust fumes were unpleasant in the foyer and when walking outside. It also meant we could not drive up to the hotel to drop off or to pack our luggage in at the end of our stay.
Also, the shower is over the bath and the edge of the bath setting is VERY wide so getting in and out of the shower (or bath) is difficult and a bit dangerous.
