I had a wonderful stay at this charming hotel in the French Quarter! The staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect. The location was ideal—close enough to walk to all the sights and restaurants, but tucked away on a quiet street that made it easy to relax. The rooms were spotless and comfortable, and the beautiful courtyard was the perfect spot to enjoy a morning coffee or evening glass of wine. I’d definitely stay here again!

The hotel is what you might expect from staying in a converted historic building. The room was a bit tricky to get to, going up and down flights of stairs and the room itself was small, but appropriate for a single traveler. It was on a part of Royal Street that was a little tricky to park on, but during weekday evenings I never had problems finding a space more than a hundred feet away. The courtyard is beautiful and the overall ambiance of the place is charming and heightened my experience.

Great location. There was some construction going on that started at 7am but other than that it was a great stay.

Room wasn't the buggest, but was perfectly adequate for what we needed.
It was comfortable and spotlessly clean, and hotel staff were all friendly and helpful.
Hotel is in great location, close to a lot of major landmarks.
Overall would definitely recommend and would come back here if/when we return

I didn’t like the fact that it wasn’t a balcony room, or that it didn’t have a fridge or microwave but it was quaint, charming and quiet . Getting to the room was like in a Harry Potter movie. Other than that I had a good weekend of rest

Very friendly and helpful staff. The windows were dusty behind the wooden blinds and it had my nose going crazy the whole time. No fridge and only one rack to cram all the bath towels onto. But other than that, the courtyard is very pretty and the balcony rooms are so charming. Each staff member we met over the course of three days was so nice.

Great all around

It was perfect. Everyone was amazing and friendly. Peter and the lady that worked Sunday morning at the desk (sorry) I didn't catch her name but they are absolutely hands down are the best. I had a humbling experience. I am definitely coming back.

The hotel had a charm to it, and I loved the balcony overlooking Royal St as well. Staff was extremely friendly, and helpful in navigating the area!

Clean

Incredibly small room with two very small windows at top by the ceiling. No way to look outside. There was only about 18 inches room all the way around the queen bed. Worst mattress I’ve ever slept on with a huge dip in the middle. Very small hallway to the door. I would never stay here again because of the quality of the room.

Enjoyed our stay very much

The person behind the desk the evening I arrived was very helpful and logged my suitcase up many flights of stairs. Overall, the old world charm is there, but did not care for the inner room that was enclosed with no windows. It felt incredibly small and claustrophobic. Also, it’s old and the wooden floors, echo and amplify people slamming doors and running around the hallways. I would definitely splurge for an outer room with a balcony in the future.

Great hotel with a lot history and the location is in the heart of French Quarter, walkable to every attraction of NOLA and the staff is really welcoming and friendly
