It is right in the centre of Madrid and relatively quiet. Depending on your room your window could be right next to a street light which could be a bit annoying at night, but apart from that the staff is friendly, the beds comfortable, the rooms were warm in February, the facilities good and nothing can beat the breakfast with a vast choice of food.

A hotel különlegessége, hogy Spanyolország legrégebbi szállodája. A repülőtérről tökéletesen el lehet érni három metróvonallal (M8-M9-M2) kb. 30 perc alatt. A város főterétől két perc sétára található. A bejelentkezés zökkenőmentes, a recepciós hölgy nagyon kedves és segítőkész. A szobánkban nem működött a fűtés, azonnal jöttek, és beállították. Az ágy tökéletesen kényelmes, az ágynemű makulátlan. A szoba mérete elfogadható, franciaerkélyesek a szobák. A fürdőszobára ráférne egy alapos felújítás, magára az épületre is, a folyosók padlószőnyegének cseréje aktuális lenne, de ezzel együtt nagyon jónak találtam a szállodát. A reggeli finom, egész jó válaszékkal, isteni kávéval és narancslével. Összességében kitűnő helyen lévő szálloda, kényelmes, tiszta szobák és ágyak, viszont érdemes lenne jobban hangsúlyozni és hirdetni a szálloda kivételes történetét és a titokzatos 126-os szobát.
