The room was clean and spacious.
The carpet was kinda gross, and there was a hole in the wall like someone put their knee in it.

Location and hiusekeeping
Old beds that looked like waves in Lake Tahoe from body imprints, stained floors, flat pillows, rude old man at counter, backdoor didn’t lock, room door had to be pulled shut, and a toilet that clogged twice with very little in it. We went and bought more pillows. Old man at counter said “Naaah, naah, nah” when asked for more to fill the body imprints.
The room was great for a romantic getaway. The bed was comfortable and the location was fantastic. We also loved the bikes that were available at no extra charge.

It was close to everything in South Lake Tahoe
The outlets by the sink didn’t work. One of the shower heads didn’t have warm water

The King room with a spa tub was like if you’re in a 80’s porn. The rug in the room had mold. I would not stay at this place for the price they charge per night.
The location is nice. Walking distance to lake and shops
It is very out dated. Chips and dings throughout the whole room. There was a dirty towel left from previous guests in the shower. There was dry food on comforter. Cobwebs in the bathroom. It was not clean and not worth $400 plus that we were charged for 1 night only because there was a golf tournament going on they raised the prices for a dirty crappy room. We used to love coming here but unfortunately that will be our last time staying at this hotel. They need some major upgrades and retraining on cleaning. I own a cleaning business and used to work in the hotel industry and this is sad. We wanted a partial refund but when we went to check out and talk to receptionist they were not there and had a note that said if checking out leave keys .
I really loved the location. Very close walk to the Harbour and restaurants
The photos of the room i booked did not match the room I actually got. The room i got was like maybe half updated? It was odd. No hooks for towels in the bathroom, no bath fan so there was some mold starting on the ceiling. Chunks out of baseboards and trim throughout. The carpet was loose and I tripped at once point on a ripple. The room AC was functioning but the thermostat on it definitely did not. Once it got going we were able to figure out a good temp for the room. Overall it was only one night so I did not complain. But for the price I paid and the booking photos I saw I expected more.
