The hotel was fantastic for the purpose of my visit and provided good value for the money spent.
Pros:

The staff were excellent. They accepted us as a family and were always willing to lend a hand. The rooms were spacious and clean. The location was okay, especially with the offer of complementary bus services within a certain radius.

Cons:

The breakfast was fine, but it became boring after a few days. Introducing food variety after a few days would be very helpful.

Cons:

The room was expensive and did not include parking (extra $50/night). Included breakfast was just barely ok. Slow included WiFi; fast iWiFi was another upcharge.

We felt relaxed and would definitely stay again.
Pros:

Staff were excellent. House keeping and breakfast were very good.

Perfect for a visit to Alexandria and surrounding areas. Easily accessible train to D.C.
Pros:

Great location within walking distance to main street in Old Town Alexandria. Clean, comfortable large rooms. All the appliances worked properly. Excellent restaurant - jazz club adjacent to hotel. Very friendly and accommodating staff. In general met and exceeded standards for Residence Inns.

Cons:

Air conditioning unit in bedroom was mildly noisy.

Convenient and Spotless
Pros:

The Residence Inn by Marriott Alexandria Old Town / Duke Street was exactly what I needed for my one-night stay. My one-bedroom suite was updated, spotless and comfortable. Both the Executive Diner and Table Talk restaurant serve reliably good eats within a couple of blocks, with all the action of King Street just a little farther than that. The hotel is also easily walkable to the King Street Metro station. An excellent option for Old Town.

Great place to stay while visiting the Old Town section of Alexandria!
Pros:

Location, free breakfast, staff.

Cons:

The queen bed seemed smaller than a regular queen. Single bed rooms should really have a King in this day and age.

Es gibt einen kostenlosen Shuttleservice.

Cons:

Personal am Empfang zum Teil unprofessionell und wenig motiviert. Zimmer durch Klimaanlage und Kühlschrank sehr laut. Suite für 4 Personen hat keine 4 Schlafplätze, auf dem Schlafsofa kann nur eine Person übernachten. Dusche ohne Handbrause. Zusatzprodukte extrem teuer (Flasche Wasser 7€…)
Frühstück nur bis 9 Uhr. Keine frischen Produkte beim Frühstück, kein Gemüse, kein Käse, kaum Obst.

Können wir uneingeschränkt empfehlen!
Pros:

Größe und Ausstattung des Studios haben uns gefallen.
Das Frühstück war für amerikanische Verhältnisse sehr gut.
Es wurde ein kostenloser Shuttlebus in die Altstadt angeboten. Es fährt aber auch ein kostenloser Stadtbus in der Kingstreet. Man kann aber auch laufen.
Das Personal beim Frühstück und beim Zimmerservice war sehr freundlich.

Cons:

Die teuren Wasserflaschen auf dem Zimmer!

Breakfast was really good. While I did not get her name, one of the employees in the dining area on Sat. March 28 was so kind (not that anyone else was not ) but she was beyond. Location in Old Town excellent
